As others have mentioned, the rotating mechanism needs to be raised so the wheels of this broadcast spreader do not block the pellets that are being spread. Also, this spreader arrived in a used condition and was missing parts.

Get a Scotts
Very poorly made. Setting dial had to be almost set to maximum for anything to come out of spreader.

This product did not meet my expectation. I had to pull the string so hard to release the weed ferterlizer.

Used and Rusty
Arrived the next day. The spreader was beat up and rusty. Looked like someone used it, returned it, then Walmart boxed it up and sent it on to me. Returned it. This defeated my plan of not having to enter the Walmart. Plus I had to wait through the return line.
