Expert Gardener Brass 4-Way Hose Faucet Manifold

I bought this 4-way brass manifold because I have one outdoor spigot and about four different things I need to hook up to it. In the summer, I've got a garden hose for watering vegetables, a shorter hose for washing the dog, a drip irrigation line for my flower beds, and occasionally a pressure washer. Switching hoses every time was driving me crazy. The first thing I noticed when I pulled it out of the box is how heavy it is. This thing is solid brass, not that lightweight aluminum or plastic junk. The four outlets each have their own twist dial and they turn smoothly with a nice rubber grip. No squeaking or grinding. I attached it to my spigot with some plumber's tape and it threaded on easily without cross-threading. Here's what most people probably want to know. Does it leak? So far, no. I turned on the main spigot with all four dials closed and let it sit for an hour. Came back, felt around each connection, everything was dry. When I opened one dial at a time, the water flow was strong and consistent with no drop in pressure from the main line. My only complaint is that the dials aren't labeled in any way. I have to remember which outlet goes to which hose unless I grab a permanent marker and write on the brass myself. Not a deal breaker, just mildly annoying on a Saturday morning when I'm half awake trying to water the tomatoes. I'm hoping this manifold holds up through a few winters. I live somewhere with freezing temps so I'll disconnect it before the first frost. The brass feels like it could last years if I take care of it. Good for anyone with more hoses than spigots. Just bring your own labels. Four hoses, one brain cell left for labeling

Has made watering my gardens %26 setting up outdoor water play a lot easier. No more needing to fiddle with multiple hoses to figure out which one i need. Now that I have 4 spigots to attach each hose to had made everything easier. I've bought other brands that have broken/started to leak within days %26 so far this one is holding up with no issues.

the shut off valves for each outlet are well constructed and seal off water flow . the inlet attachment fitting and the threaded hose ends seal well . No unwanted leaks anywhere. recommended !!!

Well built and easy to follow installation instruction. It was a matter of a 20 minute install. The on/off valves were a little stiff at first but glide effortlessly now. I like that I can lay out more hoses for different sections of my yard and garden.

Prices have got to start coming down or disabled people won't be able to afford to buy things they need or food or meds

I like having the ability to connect 4 hoses. there is a metal support for the weight of the unit plus the 4 hoses, it says to remove the spigot every winter but I don't know how necessary that really is if your water drains when not in use.but the usual winter spigot cover isn't big enough to cover it for protection.

Poor connection on hose end resulted in screw part completely coming off, but other two units are good and cheapest price via other companies so maybe I just got a bad one ?

Item leaks where it is attached to the water spicket.

Cheaply built, the threads separate from the unit itself and the ball valve which opens and closes fell out of one of the spigots rendering the product unusable unless the main water source is turned off. Looks like a decent product but in actuality it’s anything but.

Mine came with a factory defect. A tiny pin hole in the lettering of the on/off area. I'm sure Walmart would have gladly exchanged it for me but i needed it right away. I ended up using it with the tiny leak squirting an arc of water up all day. That evening I slopped some water resistant high pressure epoxy all around the hole. It no longer leaks but it's not going to last as long as a non defective piece. Setting that issue aside...I do like the shut offs as well as the hose inlet connection, everything there seems secure and is not leaking. The included hardware for mounting seems adequate as well. I would suggest inspecting closely for any defects but unfortunately that might not even help since the hole in mine is so tiny and hidden in the creases of the lettering that it is essentially imperceptible to the naked eye. Perhaps I was just unlucky or maybe it's a common issue. I doubt I'll bother with anything else from the brand simply to avoid being reminded of the aggravation.
