Wow, this timer is so great for watering my garden. I use soaker hoses, and I love that I don't have to keep watching the clock to run out and change to a different hose.

I really like these timers. We have a big garden with everything on drip lines. These atr perfect fir soaking the garden for 1 or two hours. All have them on fruit trees. Easy to set to manual for a long soak. I highly recommend them.

I use my water hoses for fairly short intervals at a time. I use to leave the hoses under pressure for days and weeks unattended until in two separate occasions the hoses burst and ran for days without me knowing. Those months my water and sewage bill more than quadrupled. This timer allows me to walk away and the pressure to the hose stops when the timer ends. And also I can run a hose end sprinkler for a short time and walk away and it will cut off automatically. I love the options to set and walk away without draining my wallet. There may be better solutions, but this device solved mine.

This one is very similar to the Orbit brand Walmart was selling last year. However, the Orbit brand had a little plastic tab which needed to be held down to reset. The plastic tab could break off making the unit worthless. This one does not have the plastic tab and works great without it.

Compact, easy to use, works well. Prevents me from overwatering because I forget to turn off the water.

The water timer did work as described. The assembly seems frail and it took some tweaking to stop it from leaking at the green inlet connection. I was afraid it would break as I tightened it up. Manual dial timer function did work, but I only used it a couple of times.

I frequently forget to turn the water off when filling my horses' water trough. This looked like an inexpensive solution. Unfortunately, it leaks like a sieve around all the joints. I'm still using it because the leaks are less than if I forget to turn off the faucet. I guess you get what you pay for. It is 100% plastic. Next year I'll purchase a better made, hopefully nonplastic model.

The ease of use with a manual dial is as basic as it gets and the timer works. Bought 3, first one broke on the first use. These need to be laying flat on the ground with ZERO pressure on the hoses or they will brake during the shock off shutting off. They are NOT very high flow valves so don' expect to run 2 sprinklers off one timer or even get full performance out of one sprinkler. Could be great for soaker hoses or drip irrigation but not anything that needs a volume of water supply.

Unfortunately mine would not shut off. It gets stuck right at the end of the time and just doesn't get pushed to off. I returned it and ordered another one.
