This is an extremely adaptable product.. The description says that can be used for a number of applications, including animal containment, temporary fences, home maintenance, and craft projects. It provides great protection and support for plants, erosion control, and compost containment. Hardware cloth is an economical solution that is easy to install and alter to meet your needs. This is so true. When I received the product I immediately saw multiple uses for the product. I am a crafter so I went crazy thinking about ideas that I can use it for. I used some to cover an old frame in the back. It was easy to cut. I just used a pair of kitchen shears, and had some craft wire cutters just in case. It was also easy to handle and manipulate by myself. It is very durable and not flimsy. I used you staples to attach the galvanize cloth. I didn't have any problems since the staples went between the squares. The project is finished but I do want to add some embellishments to the frame. I don't know what my next project will be, but I do plan on using some in the garden. If you think out of the box you can use this hardware cloth for so many projects. The possibilities are endless.

I am very pleased with this hardware cloth. It is perfect for so many projects around the house. The mesh material is very thick and heavy duty. You can definitely tell that this material is made of high quality material. I really like that the material is lightweight and very durable. This hardware cloth is very easy to use and install wherever you need it. It can be bent and formed to any position you need. I strongly recommend using gloves while handling this. I was very surprised at how easy this was to cut. I just used a pair of wire cutters and it cut right thwind.s We have a small garden and it tends to attract a lot of animals. I really like that this hardware cloth is sturdy and durable enough to keep animals out of my garden. I even used some on my gutters to keep the leaves and squirrels out. With the recent storms we had I was very happy that this hardware cloth held up through the heavy rain and wind. I really love that this hardware clot is very versatile and can be used in so many projects around my house. I will definitely be purchasing more of this hardware cloth. I highly recommend this product.

This product is heavy duty and high quality while being lightweight. Before using this product I would definitely recommend a couple additional items to have on hand. One being gloves to protect your hands and second some proper cutters. Wire cutters will do, but we had some Hyper Tough snips (https://www.walmart.com/ip/Hyper-Tough-10-Inch-Aviation-Snips/39590599) that made cutting this product very easy.  The wire cloth is easy to work with once I got it unwrapped. Using it in our yard to create a fence around our garden was very simple. This is a new project for our yard that is a work in progress. Since the height is 36", it will allow me to be able to easily step over the enclosure while keeping little critters out. It keeps our dogs from having access to the area. Even though we live in "suburbia" we still get little rabbits that enjoy snacking on all the different options if given the opportunity. I want to ensure that my hard work does not get destroyed. And this will do the trick. I do believe that this product has many uses just like the picture shows and will keep this product in mind for the future. Very pleased with the product!

I have (had) a groundhog and skunk problem. The space under my deck was big enough for the groundhogs and sometimes the skunks to make my home their home. This cloth was big enough to stop them (and the spell). They kept trying to come back, but I had dug the fence in real deep in the groove so they couldn't get thru. Gone are the pests. By the way, the fence was easy to cut.

This metal Expert Gardener Cloth was exactly what I was hoping it would be! I'm a Jewelry Maker and I also make Jewelry Organizers. My challenge had been finding a proper backing for my self-built wooden frames that would hold and display dangling earrings. This Gardeners wire has the wires spaced perfectly for my purpose. I utilized several paint stir sticks (also purchased from Walmart) and will cut the wire and sticks to fit, staple the wire down and paint the frame to make a beautiful hanging jewelry display very easily! The wire is sturdy, but easy to cut with wire cutters. I'm sure I'll find many other uses for this Gardeners Cloth for other farmhouse Craft projects and containers and in my indoor and outdoor Gardens as there is plenty of it on the roll.

I use hardware cloth for a variety of projects around the house. Can be used for home repairs and craft projects. This is a small grid metal cloth and has worked perfectly for making baskets, and climbing trellis for the garden. My husband needed this for a larger drywall repair and cut the size needed with wire snips.

I ordered this galvanized hardware cloth to use around my tomato plants. My husband had no trouble at all putting this all around the plants. Works really well. I also lay some of the longer stems over this. Perfect instead of staking. This could be used for a wide variety of things. It is very sturdy. Will be getting some more of this. Great product.

We used this hardware cloth for the walls of the hen house, we needed to reinforce them and make them stronger to protect them against predators, they are very easy to use, just be careful working with them, I recommend using thick working gloves

I used this wire to put at bottom of parts of my wood fence, where there were gaps large enough for neighbors' dogs to squeeze through. I wanted something not too noticeable, not too difficult to put up and take down, but strong and sturdy enough to resist dogs pushing or clawing at it. This hardware cloth has worked out well, I think. Time will tell. It seems thicker and sturdier than some other types I looked at. I've never worked with metal linked fencing product, but this was pretty easy. I used wirecutters to cut it and did a simple system to affix to bottom of fence. I also painted the metal fencing black, making it almost disappear visually after installed. The hardest part of this product was unwinding it. I thought it'd pop open after I removed the covering, but it's held in a wrapped state with small pieces of bent wire, so it won't pop open. It took me a bit to remove those pieces. Other than that, my project was pretty easy with this fencing. I like it so much that I'm looking around to see what I can use the remaining bits for. I took off a star for the difficulty in unwinding it.

I am in the process of cutting it into strips to line the edge of my garden fence. It will work wonderfully to help keep out the little moochers like rabbit and groundhogs who always seem to find a way to push through. I gave it 4 stars because it is a little harder to work with than I expected, but over all should do the job. Unfortunately I am not able to get a picture at this time.
