I have honestly not found a better granular fertilizer for my yard in the past 5 years, If it is any kind of lawn grass, this stuff will green it like Emerald City in the Wizard of Oz. This High N2 (at 30% plus 2% iron) make for a GREAT GREEN! Also, if you buy the special 2-bag pkg, you will save $7.95 ($27.95 versus 2 x $17.95)... and each bag is good for at least 10,000 SF. Side Note: Buying the 2-bag pkg my first time, they only gave me one bag in an online order. i had to show them the ad (Theirs, no less!) to get the 2nd bag. Overall I love this stuff!

I've tried a lot of different fertilizers, liquid and granular but it only took me one application of Expert Gardener 30-0-4 and I was sold with the impressive results. The iron makes my lawn darker green and lush and the slow release nitrogen wont burn the grass.

Basically, scotts turf builder, but for half the price! Works well and has iton to help green up the grass. I use this for my landscaping company and clients are always happy with results!

I truly love this product and it works very well. I’ve been using it for a good number of years however it’s almost impossible to find it in stock. Not sure what’s up with that. Perhaps it’s the manufacturer.🤷🏻‍♀️ I hope that problem can be corrected.

I come from the land of Fescue lawns, but I've learned to adapt to Flortam %26 St. Augustine. There is a learning curve, and I'll try to share what knowledge I paid to earn. First, let me say (if used correctly) this stuff just WORKS. %231: DON'T CUT YOUR LAWN SHORT - Grow it as deep as your mower settings will allow. This prevents weeds from germination, and reduces their root structure making them weaker, and more prone to weed killers and pulling. MINIMUM LAWN DEPTH is 4" or higher. %232: Feed twice per year. Once in the spring (when daytime high temps are between 70-80F) and once in the fall (watching for daytime high temps to fall below 80F). Consistency is KEY. My springtime application is ALWAYS in combination with epsom salts. Which encourages new growth. This combination boosts both root and shoot growth, covering bare patches. Which in turn improves the density and resilience of your lawn. It will require less water, and stand up to harsher temperatures better. %233: Apply fertilizer at dawn or dusk, PARTICULARLY when temps reach 85F %234: ALWAYS water-in your fertilizer. NEVER wait. Apply, water, wait, water again. When I apply this product, I water immediately after I sweep the sidewalks (which would otherwise stain when the granules get wet). I turn my sprinklers to manual setting and water immediately, then I run another cycle within the next 12 hours /- to be sure the nutrients reach the soil and don't burn the leaves. Don't over water or create runoff. You want all the nutrients to reach the roots. %235: If you're using lawn weed killer, apply that before temps reach 85F. I plan my fertilizer 2 weeks in advance of my weed killer. This makes sure the weeds are in a growth phase, and more susceptible to the weed killer application. Bag your lawn clippings in the spring to catch most of the weed seeds, and keep them from reproducing. Recycling weed seeds is recycling the problem. ----------------- What you need to know about this product is that IT WORKS (when used correctly). Apply it in the correct temperature range, at the right time of year, and with a sufficient water and it'll green your lawn up like crazy. The iron in the product boosts the greening effect significantly, and the effect lasts longer than other methods. The cost of this product is HALF of what Scott's is charging for their version, and I see virtually no difference in the end result. I prefer Scott's granule size, but who cares enough to pay 2x as much for the same result? This applies without trouble. If you're pricing Ironite to accompany cheaper fertilizers, you'll see that you end up in virtually the same place as the Scott's price point. The best value on the market is THIS product. I am unaware of any alternative doing as much for less. As far as I'm concerned, this Expert Lawn Fertilizer with Iron is the best value on the market for a product that truly works. I'm recommending it to you, just like I do with my neighbors.

This was magical. My lawn is very green and thick after just one use. Granted we had a lot of rain but my gosh we literally have an enviable lawn all of a sudden. I use chat gbt to create me a weed and feed and bug plan for my North Texas lawn. It didn't specifically recommend this product but did recommend the ingredients and this was a good price. I will buy again for the next feed that chat recommends in about 3 months.

This is THE BEST Fertilizer I've found for Zoysia grass...and I'm glad I saved the empty bag from last year. Like most things, the price has increased drastically, so I brought the Larger bag for a few applications. I hope you never stop making and selling this formula! Thank you kindly. : )

One bag was damaged. Told me to go to other end of store to gardens and they would help me get another bag. Then asked if I could only take 1 bag and was told no. Said to cancel order. Got home and received e-mail that I picked up 2 bags at 10:30 am - I was in Milford at that time. I was charged on my credit card.

3 weeks, no results. Breaks down really slow, infact there are still plenty that haven't broken down and we water 2x week, plus rain. I did save $$$. poor decision! Spread Milorganite yesterday to give the turf a boost. At least the spreader settings for a Scott Broadcast Spreader were accurate

I came to the conclusion that this fertilizer may contain weeds. I applied the fertilizer the first time and saw weeds I have never seen before. sprayed and killed the weeds, and reapplied the second time. Now I have a new more weeds which is strange.
