Expert Gardener Metal Kink Free Hose Connector

This works as it should. Used it as an extension from my spigot that is super close to the ground, then added a splitter on the other end of extension.

The metal is high quality...the spring around the hose is quite rigid so it's not going to bend much at least at first. OK for me.

Very stiff spring, but able to wire it into the curve I wanted, Very heavy duty, will last a longgggg time!!

These work very well to extend my hydrant - happy with purchase

Bought it to keep yard hoses from kinking. Works better than most of these devices. You will need pliers to make a seal at both ends of the short piece. I bought red rubber washers when I added the new devices. (Hoses, sprayers, anti-kink springs.) They seal and they last. Then you do not need to use the pliers so hard. I got it all finger tight, turned on the water and tightened each device until it quit leaking. No more or less than needed.

It was so stiff there is no chance that you can bend it. I wanted it for my hose reel, where the hose attaches from the reel to the spigot. It has to make a 180 degree turn. It cant.

First of all, this leaks like crazy. The hose I removed from the spigot did not leak at all. Second, it's next to impossible to connect and especially DISconnect a hose at the male end because the silver wire is completely loose, so spins and you cannot get a grip. The wire is also incredible thick and stiff, so you can't pull it up out of the way to grip the hose part in order to hold it while connecting/disconnecting the hose. It's also so stiff that you cannot bend it at all, so if your spigot is close to the ground, like mine, it just goes straight down into the dirt. I will return this.
