Expert Gardener No-Dig Plastic Edging 30 ft., with Spikes, Black

I received the this item free for a review. I finally decided where to use the edging material. It was a nice long 30ft that perfectly fit a large area of ground cover foliage. It was fairly easy and fast. I used my after to score the grass. Then I used a thin width shovel to remove grass on the edge of foliage. After leveling and removing rock I laid the edging down. Once it laid right I began putting in the spikes. Lastly, I filled in the gap with compost. The product went down easily, stayed in place with the spikes and looks professional. Thanks for the product, I would certainly buy it!

I was skeptical about an edging kit since we have installed edging many times and it was always a major headache and always ultimately caved to one side or worked its way out. This kit is very basic and it would be very simple for a novice to understand. The directions are on the back of the box. To install we needed a mallet to drive the spikes in and something very sharp (we used a box cutter) to cut to appropriate size. I was unable to cut it but my husband had no problem. I did half the job and my husband did the other half. The hardest part of the install is hammering the spikes in. It will be much easier for anyone with very good soil. In Kentucky the soil is hard clay and we also had tree roots to work around. It helped to soften the soil by hosing it a little. I'm age 69 with weakness in my arms but I still was able to hammer half the spikes myself. It is not necessary to put a spike in every hole in order for the edging to be firmly in place. Placing the edging around the tree in preparation was a breeze. The kit contained enough edging to do another border like the one I did. With spikes in place I do not think this edging is going anywhere! It is extremely well anchored. While I was working I looked up to see a neighbor looking down at me who expressed her approval of the product (she was not aware I was going to review it). After the edging was in place we filled the remainder with soil in which I will plant wildflowers. From the perspective of someone who has helped install a number of edging products in the past, this product is definitely a thumbs up. I would purchase more in future.

Being elderly and not a gardener by nature, I am always on the look out for ways to make gardening easier for myself. This edging is a godsend to me. It requires no digging to install like the edgings you have to dig a trench, wrestle the edging, and back fill as you go with. I just figured out where I wanted my space to be, cleaned the weeds out, put down landscape fabric and hammered the spikes/ edging around the space. It was easy to shape, and easy to cut with tin snips. I am not finished with my project yet, but I am going to back fill with gravel to make a space for our grill and potted plants. Another thing I like is that it is make from recycled materials.

We started gardening recently, and used the edging kit to form a barrier between our brick walkway and walkway garden Before distributing wood chips. The edging is very flexible for use with corners without being flimsy. The corners are not flush, but good enough for what we were doing. Mom was eager to set it up and she also found it super easy to setup and she's in her 70s.

I used this product along my sidewalk to help keep the dirt off. The product is easy to work with and flexible. When it came time to cut it I had no problem using the loppers per the directions. The profile of this product is approximately 1.5 inches.

The product is awesome; however, recommend that customer/buyer on-line options be expanded to include increased capabilities: 30ft, 60ft or 100ft

This no dig landscaping edging kit is great! Incredibly easy to use. Great quality. Stakes are a great length to keep the edging in place. Holds up nicely if run over by lawn mower (oops!) Couldn't be any more simple to use.

Straight forward process. However not enough spikes to have a nice tight and secure edge. I would recommend buying extra stakes.

Make sure to check all parts are present. I bought 6 of these and 4 of them were missing stakes and the bracket. Couldn't return it because we opened all to make sure those were really missing and my installer were on the clock This mistake made me lose lot of my money as I had to buy separate stakes and I couldn't call back my installer next time because appointment was today

I was sent a box taped up like it was new with nothing but the spikes for the landscape edging, no landscape edging!!
