Expert Grill Lump Charcoal, 8 lb

Absolutely terrible found more trash and plastic pieces in the bag which is dangerous for cooking plus the charcoal only lasted about an hour after it's lit I ended up using the whole bag for 3 chicken thighs after sorting out all of the foreign material in the bag so I could use it. Other 8 lb bags of charcoal I've used lasted for 2-3 cooks and 3 hours for a quarter bag rather than 1.5 hours of heat time and 15 minutes of cook time. Had to finish the chicken in the oven so if I could have gave a zero star I would have this product is absolutely garbage in a literal sense.

i bought a bag and seemed fine til i got home. i tried to start the grill and the charcoal would just smoke and go out. i used 3 fire starters and could not get it to stay lit. Im hoping it will dry out but with all the rain we been having the bags must have got moisture in the bag or got wet and dried out. They store all the charcoal outside in their tarped garden area which is not waterproofed enough and very humid. so this summer when the bags are outside i will buy from lowes because they keep the charcoal inside and in the fall when the charcoal is inside at walmart i will buy again.

lot of small pieces and dust. there were not too may lumps of charcol. This is my second bag i thought maybe i got a bad bag the first time but they were both the same.

what I didn't like about it was the description is wrong it's not lump charcoal it's little pieces mixed in with a little bit of lump charcoal. definitely will not buy this again.

Worst charcoal product I've ever seen. The bag was mostly charcoal dust, not lumps or pieces of charcoal like the products I've used in the past. 😕 Do not recommend.

I got three cooks out of each bag,i take that as a win,the lump charcoal seems to last longer than usual charcoal

It is charcoal..., already burnt wood. What do you expect? Healthier to use, since it is has not been sauteed in fuel since before packaging.

You screwed up the order and after 2 lengthy attempts to correct it, You are still unable to correct the issue.

Basically a good solid lump coal, but smaller pieces than RO or premium brands. If you are doing mostly high heat direct grilling this is for you.

First time buying the chunks. Don't go overboard because they do give your food a heavy smoked flavor.
