I got this so my littles would be able to use. I figured I could cut it and make sections (some for ABC'S/123's), and some for just drawing/doodling/learning to trace, etc. At first I wasn't sure if it would be hard to cut or maybe have a problem cutting it even, but when I received the roll it had guide lines on the back! That was a big help and much appreciated. I started off with one smaller cut section and was surprised at how well and easy it adhered to the wall! The only thing I would suggest is to "prep" the board after being placed. Just take some chalk and place it sideways on the board. Roughly cover the board going up and down and again going side to side (to make a crisscross pattern lightly). Then just wipe down with an eraser or cloth. This helps with what they call "ghosting" (when the letters/drawing stay behind and can be seen). By doing the light crisscross pattern and wiping it, it eliminates the "ghosting".

My now 5 year old grandson uses his sidewalk chalks to create scenarios along with multiple magnets on my refrigerator. He creates good pieces of artwork with magnetic seasonal crafts he gets free from the library. He edits them often. After a few months when they look inspirational to me I take the magnets off and replace this artwork with another clean section of chalkboard. I display the artwork in my sunroom on sides of desks, or any adhesive friendly furniture. The adhesive still sticks which amazes me. They can of course be smaller and used for your grocery shopping list or memo's and reminders. First photo not ready yet. 2nd photo looked 3D to me and is mounted on furniture. Love this stuff!

It served its purpose, but it seems just a little thin and it was wrinkle in before I even put it on the wall. but otherwise it works great it sticks great.

I put it on the side of the refrigerator. Easy to put up. The chalj doesnt wash off well with a dry cloth but does with a damp rag.

I love the chalk board contact paper. My son loves using it. He uses the liquid chalk markers and it's a bit hard to erase. Might be better for regular chalk.

Sent the wrong item. I got a couple of door stoppers instead.
