Faber-Castell Modern Calligraphy Kit - Lettering and Calligraphy Set for Beginners with Pitt Artist Pens

My granddaughter already had this. I can't return it there's no button for a return on this. It seems like a nice enough item but if you're buying for a child that doesn't live in your household check to see if they have it first already otherwise you can't return it. I can't really say if I would recommend it or not

Calligraphy is a must know if your an artist or just want to learn something new or mix it up. The detail and instruction on how to use the product is great as well the other digital learning experience. Overall happy with the product.

I love the added detail of the watercolors. I am so excited to be able to handwrite my greeting cards now with such pretty handwriting.

The instructions are easy to follow and it gives a couple different styles and easy stroke lines/directions to follow. There are even directions for a few simple banners to help make certain words/phrases stand out better. The book also shows me how to embellish/add flourish to my letters too. The set has the basics needed to start learning the techniques. Included in the set are: "3 premium quality black Pitt Artist Pens (Brush, Bullet and Soft Brush nibs), 4 (10 ml) tubes of Watercolor wash paint (Red Violet, Yellow Gold, Emerald Green, and Cobalt Blue), graphite Pencil, Envelope and curves template, ruler, practice pad, mini water brush, and instruction booklet." Also included is "special access to 10 separate online technique and instruction videos created by professional calligraphers to help you learn calligraphy basics," The 3 different size pen brushes make it easy to get that calligraphy look. Overall this is a nice starter set for calligraphy lettering. It comes with some decent calligraphy pens too and the instructions are easy to follow.

It includes watercolor paints, pens, templates, practice pages and many other things. It's so fun to use this and the more your practice the better your calligraphy gets.

It comes with a book so we can follow along and practice calligraphy on sheets of paper that came with the kit. There's different type of markers and water pens as well as different size tips. I really enjoyed it and recommend it.

I also have a hard time drawing it out and all that fun stuff. So what better way to learn than to get a beginners modern kit. I have used this thing so much already! The only bad part is when the marker, pen thing splits and then it's not so good anymore but overall I really love this!
