Really Shiny

TheHedge April 30, 2019

This synthetic car wax worked very well on our vehicle. The box came with a wash, wax, sponge, and microfiber towel. There was just enough wash and wax to do our small SUV but it looks great and super shiny. The wax was much easier to use than paste wax, it buffed out a lot easier but it took every bit to finish my small SUV. I followed the instructions and washed the vehicle with the included wash then applied the wax with the included sponge, and buffed it with the microfiber towel. This vehicle had not been waxed in a very long time and it came out looking great. I am not sure how long the wax will last since it was just done yesterday but the manufacturer claims 3 years, we'll see!

Factor 4 Synthetic Car Wax Kit

denbroncos May 7, 2019

The Factor 4 Synthetic Car Wax Kit is a one time single use product. This complete wash and wax kit contains five items. Item 1 is a two ounce bottle of deep cleaning wash fluid, mix it with one gallon of water and wash your vehicle. Wait 15 minutes before rinsing. Item 2 is a two ounce tube of synthetic wax. With the vehicle completely dry you apply the wax with item 3 a soft foam applicator. This is a very nice applicator and fits in your hand perfectly. Item 4 is a soft microfiber towel, 16 x 16 inches. After the wax turns hazy and translucent use the towel to buff to a high shine. Now just enjoy your vehicle. Item 5 is a four ounce spray bottle of detailor, it is a wax refresh, stain extractor, removes bugs, tar and sap. This kit is made by RUST-OLEUM.

2 hours spend for shinned result!

jrrobert April 30, 2019

The Factor 4 Synthetic Car Wax Kit by Rust-Oleum is a revolutionary car wax that protects your vehicle's surface for up to 3 years through electrofusion technology. I have receive this free as Spark Reviewer. Concerning the time it will last shinning I have write this evaluation after less than a week I done it. But I have take 2 photos one just pre wash, before application the Factor 4 Deep cleaning was. The second photos it the next day after have done it. You could see by yourself the result, The shinning it like a mirror if you look closely in the door drive side you will see me taking the photo shadow. This was not planned . They describe this product in terms ‘' The positive ions in the wash bond with the negative ions in the wax to form a durable, protective layer. The complete, single use kit includes a concentrated Factor 4 Deep Cleaning Wash, the Factor 4 Synthetic Wax, a soft foam applicator, a microfiber towel, and a bonus Factor 4 Instant Detailer Spray. Factor 4 protects your vehicle from UV rays, pollution, moisture and more for up to 3 years with the ultimate Synthetic Wax System.'' I like yet the result almost red shinned like exit of manufacturer.

1993 car looks showroom new

Arrowcatcher May 1, 2019

I was hot to try this new product on my late mother's 1993 Toyota Corolla. It's a low mileage mint condition car which has never been waxed. Smog test guy recently said, “This is a new car. Wanna sell it?” Older mint cars seem to be valued nowadays. It looked pretty good before Factor 4, but now the paint, even on all horizontal surfaces, is shiny like a mirror. Rust-Oleum claims the job should last for years, so I can't verify that, but I do know it makes the car look great. I followed the easy instructions and had just enough left over for another economy car, a 1996 Acura Integra that had also never been waxed. Am tickled with the results. The instruction pictorials show just using dabs of the wax on the included foam brush and not plastering it on – keep in mind that a little goes a long way. That's how I had enough for 2 cars. The included microfiber cloth made buffing off the surfaces easy. The included “Instant Detailer” helped with a small dried tar spot on a rear panel. It's a complete package for both washing and waxing the car. There are various videos online for detailing the car with Factor 4.

Factor 4 Provides A High Gloss, Protective Car Wax

Paul May 7, 2019

It is 'Love-Bug' season here in North Florida. YUK! So, I was anxious to try and review Rust-Oleum Factor 4 Synthetic Car Wax System in exchange for the product. After five decades of dealing with Love-Bugs the only thing I ever found effective was as many layers of carnuba wax I was physically able to apply. The whole process was hard work beginning in May and repeated again over in September as the Love-Bugs came back again to torture me and my car's finish. So, after reading the instructions I first pre-cleaned and washed my car with a degreaser detergent to remove all old wax, stains, and tar. Then, I followed the three steps outlined by Factor 4. Since it is already in the 90's here I washed my car as quickly as I could to try to keep the total time as specified, 15 minutes before rinsing. About half of the car was already dried after washing so I was skeptical about the 15 minutes. But, I followed the directions and waited the full 15 minutes after washing the entire car before rinsing. Since it was already in the lower 90's it did not take long for my vehicle to dry. Waxing – I found that there is a 'learning curve' to applying this synthetic wax out of the tube. Just a couple of small dabs goes a long way. I applied the wax as directed with the applicator in a circular motion. The applicator is ergonomically designed. It is easy to hold the grip top while spreading the synthetic wax. I applied the wax as sparingly as I could as the tube only contains two ounces of synthetic wax. The applicator did a good job of distributing the wax evenly over my car's surface. I did the right front fender panel first, then half of the right front hood. By the time I finished applying wax on the left front fender and left half of the front hood, the right side was hazy and ready for buffing. Be aware there is not enough synthetic wax in one kit for a van, large SUV, or large four door, six to eight passenger vehicle. I buffed by hand using the included microfiber towel, shaking the dried wax off of the microfiber towel, regularly. It is work, but not excessively hard. The dried haze comes off pretty easily using the included microfiber towel. The resulting high gloss is terrific (see pics). It took me about three and one half hours from start to finish. After waxing and buffing the entire car I had just enough to apply a second coat over the front of my car, which is much more susceptible to Love-Bug damage. For those of you not familiar with Love-Bugs, they are very acidic and if left on your car's surfaces for several days can permanently damage the paint finish. YIKES! It is imperative to have a hard-coat of wax protection to prevent the Love-Bug damage. I have driven my car since I used Factor 4 and got my share of Love-Bug splashes each time. However, up 'till now they have easily hosed off when I got home. Whether I can depend on this Rust-Oleum Synthetic Wax for up to three years is going to be interesting. If it just protects my car for one year I would be a Happy Camper. From my experience with this Rust-Oleum Factor 4 Synthetic Car Wax System I highly recommend it. It is a lot easier to use then carnuba waxes and the high gloss shine is terrific. Rust-Oleum may be the leader and dominate the future of all car waxes with their electrofusion process. It makes a lot of sense. I highly recommend this Factor 4 Synthetic Car Wax System. It did a great job on my car (see pics).

Complete wash and wax kit!

Reviewer34614 April 25, 2019

Let me start by saying I absolutely hate waxing our vehicles. My truck is white and it definitely gets dirty fast. I was pleasantly surprised to find a wax that lasts up to three years! First you use the car wash which has positive ions which bond with the negative ions in the wax providing a durable and protective product. Kit has everything you need. Wash, wax, applicator, microfiber towel and detailed spray. I took my time and covered every inch of my truck with wax which was not that hard to do. I think it was easier than expected because the wash really did a great job of removing the grime! I am not sure it will last the full 3 years in the Florida sun but considering most waxes only last 6 months even if it lasts half the time it is a huge plus! I think this is an awesome product! One note is the wax comes in a small tube. Use is very sparingly as that is all you need. Says it covers a mid size sedan but there was just enough for my Tundra truck! Also leave it on until it completely dries before buffing it off. I have a hand buffer I used rather than the provided cloth.

No Fear with Factor 4 Synthetic Car Wax Kit

Rinoman May 2, 2019

The Factor 4 Synthetic Car Wax Kit is a great combination Car Wax Kit. The kits with everything you will need to wash and wax your car. I like the easy to use applicator sponge and one the wax dried, it was pretty easy to get off. You did not have to put a lot of effort to buff off the wax and the shine is amazing. You can call it a deep cleaning for your paint. You can always tell a good wax if when you lean against the car and your butt slides off. That's what happens with Factor 4 Synthetic Car Wax and it stays on the car after a few showers. Being in South Florida, we get heat and rain which does not seems to be a problem for this wax. I give it a double thumbs up and would recommend it for anyone that wants an all in one wax kit that is easy to use. This kit rivals some of the best car waxes on the market and has now become one of my favorite car care products.

Goes on fast and super slick

Dale April 24, 2019

Leaves a great luster and mirror finish. When they say only to use it on a cool car, they mean it. Unfortunately, the slightest bit of heat left a discoloration and residue that was very difficult to remove. Seems to be lasting as any other product I've used. Seems to keep dust from clinging to my car as much as before making washes less frequent.

Factor 4 Synthetic Car Wax Kit

007steve May 15, 2019

Following the directions on the product is the best way to go. Using the wash provided, I washed my car and the dried it. Then I applied the wax with applicator provided, waited the appropriate time and used the microfiber cloth and buffed the car. It turned out great. The wax did not stain the molding on the car, including the rubber pieces. That night after washing the car, it rained. The water beaded up on the car and after the car had dried from the rain, no spots. Love this product. Highly recommend.

Very Nice

djpizarro April 30, 2019

This kit was the first I have ever used that included a special wash and came as a kit for a one time use. The shine on my wife's little 19 year old yellow BMW Z3 is stunning now and I can only hope it lasts for a long, long time as advertised. The box advertises 3 years of protection so we'll see.
