I live in a farm community. They should carry this at every store nearby, but only 1 carries it. Its the best selling, and cheapest good quality feed anywhere around and you cant order it on the website.
Nervous about changing feed, as the eggs we were getting were beautiful with strong shells. This feed is LOVED by our chickens! They're pretty picky chicks! Anyway we're on our 3rd bag. Egg shells are still really strong. Saves money, so we're happy! I write reviews because I count on these to make purchase decisions.
Can't believe I haven't reviewed this yet. We've bought it quite a few times now. I think 25 bags, probably more (and the scratch grains). Got tired of our local feed and grain store being out of what we need half the time. So, we tried this. Birds love it and they look great. The price comparable to what we were paying so that's good too. So far, no complaints.
This chicken feed has been great for my flock and Hood River Walmart is close to where I live in Carson Washington. I order 10 bags at a time once a month and pick them up from layaway at the store. There personel are very curteous and pleasant. Chief McCurry, retired Navy
Our birds love this feed, but Walmart incorrectly collects Texas sales tax on web orders. Purchasing in the store does not incur sales tax. Texas explicitly excludes all poultry feed from sales tax collection, irrespective of whether the buyer has an Agricultural Exemption.
We ordered 12 (twelve) bags of chicken feed - only 11 (eleven) were delivered - at 6:16 PM Friday Dec 02 -see photo of delivery stacked outside our front door. Delivery driver said he would notify store of the shortage. No indication if that happened - no communication from the store yet - 9:20 AM Saturday Dec 03
Unfortunately, there is an inordinate amount of powder in this bag of feed. With every scoop of feed there is about a 1/4 scoop equivalence of powder. This much powder lessens the amount of pellets being purchased due to the weight of the powder. Will buy this in the store when offered, but not thru shipping ever again.
The product is great. But shipping is questioning. Ordered 10 bags of feed. I only received one. Tried to contact the customer services by chat and call center both were not really helping beside assured me that they were in process of shipping. Delivery date is 7/8/2021 and today is the 13th and my hens are still waiting for their food.
Higher price for convenience. I purchased the same amount at the feed store for $11 and my chickens prefer the crumbles from the feed store. This does the jump in a pinch but isn't an addition every time I go in. I buy at minimum 120 pounds of chicken feed per month for all of my chickens so price and quality is a must. This feed seem ed to go to waste with them.
Why have y'all stopped carrying this in-store?? My chickens won't even eat the crap you're selling now. This is a good product, even if the price has increased by 3 or 4 dollars a bag. None of the stores in my area keep this in stock anymore. Highly disappointing.
