Farberware Classic Series 2 qt Stainless Steel Saucepan with Lid, Induction Compatible, Dishwasher Safe

This is a 2 qt Farberware stainless pot /lid which replaced the one from the Farberware Classic series which my mother used and eventually gave to me. It has handled well for at least thirty years and I expect the same from this new one. It matches the other pots with stainless lids from that original Classic collection nicely. Caution, though, to cook only on low to medium settings; otherwise, damage to the bottom could occur. Thank you

I’ve always bought Farberware cookware. The quality is superb. I don’t use nonstick cookware because of the risk of the products used that are harmful for our bodies. With Farberware I don’t have to worry that the nonstick coating will cause health concerns for my family. Clean up is easy %26 the pans last forever. I needed this particular size sauce pan. Walmart sells this line and the price is right for the quality of the product. The lid is the right size. I use mine for boiling eggs %26 cooking rice. As an older cooker who has broken two wrists %26 am not as strong as I used to be, I have no problem lifting the pan.

Really nice pan. I love the shiny, mirror like, finish on the outside. The inside is also very nice and smooth. The inside bottom of the pan is flat and should likely stay that way. The aluminum disk embedded in the bottom spreads the heat evenly and works great. The lid fits really well. Overall construction is very good. I've used the pan a few times now and no discoloration on the inside of the pan. The outside is just as shiny as brand new. Cleans easily. The handle could (maybe) have been a bit more 'hefty' to make it more comfortable to lift, especially when heavy - but that might have changed the overall 'look' of the pan. It is in the "classic" line; so maybe the designer didn't think a bigger handle would have looked 'classic'. Overall, a great looking and great functional pan. I purchased the 3 qt, 2, qt, and 1 qt. pans - makes a really nice set. I'm impressed and very happy.

This saucepan was a little smaller than I thought it would be, but overall I am very happy with the purchase. It feels solid, and is very attractive. I almost burned some rice in it -- the rice started to stick to the bottom -- but the pan washed right up with no residue. I like the weight of the lid, not heavy, but very sturdy.

I purchased the 3-quart pan this style also, and they're $22 and $24, which is a little pricey since i just have a minimum wage job, but these are a good investment. I also read online in the reviews that a lady bought this brand and owned them forever. So i'm very pleased with my purchase. Also, they're the prettiest pots i own now.

Love stainless steel! The design is fabulous, easy to clean, cooking with faberware is easy, doesn’t stick, if you use butter or oil… well worth buying.. will last forever! I have loved the brand for 52 years and still do! Tried others, have upgraded my oven/stove, top of the line but sticking with this brand!

durable cooks well

I love the style of the PAN.However, it's a little bit sticky for heating up leftovers.You have to use water. It's great for boiling vegetables and potatoes.

The gauge at the bottom of the PAN is good.I'm just concerned about the handle that all in all a good by for the price

I like this sauce pan very much. My only minor complaint is the handle is a bit narrow. The handle is long enough just a little narrow. I have used it and items in it cook well. The sauce pan cleaned up easily. I use a GE glass top range.
