Great pan! Love the way it quickly heats up. The higher sides are great for cooking my spaghetti sauce (no spillage over the sides onto the stove top when stirring) and any pasta dishes. Love my purchase and would recommend to others.
I really like the style of two handle pan. Unfortunately did not last two years. It was our go to pan on the mornings.
Nice big size, like cooking long fish fillets instead of having to break down to smaller lengths. Stub handle helps with lifting the pan. Biggest pan I've ever owned.
Very pleased with this! It cleans very easily and doesn't get scratches easily like Teflon does. I have used over a dozen times and still looks brand new! Highly recommend this one. It didn't come with a top but I already had one so no big deal for me.
I bought this as I have 3 kids and was tired of cooking in batches. I like the coating it does seem more durable than my Rachel Ray basic non sticks (which lasted 2 years before the coating peeled and handles cracked) HOWEVER, This is a thin alumuminun pan it WARPS especially if you take it from hot heat to the sink without allowing it to cool. I t is a large PAN and it doesnt not exactly fit on my old Whirlpool electric 6" element burner, and with that does NOT spread the heat evenly as say an ALL Clad Copper base would. (I cant afford All Clad, although I did have a set at point). It is lightweight so it doesnt hurt my wrist when booking. (I purchased Blue Diamond Saute pan of similar size but it is so heavy) With that I do use it and it is so big it brushed up again the back of the stove. I think it would work better with 8" or 10" flat top cooking surface. I use butter or oil (not spray) when I cook anyway, so I cant say about cooking without some type of lubricant, I just like how easy it is to clean and if I burn something (Ok Im a distracted cook), cleanup its still easy, where stainless I would have to soak for days. So that is a plus in my book. My daughter tends to use forks to turn chicken and so far it has help up durability wise to that. I still dont see scrathing of the coating. She doesnt gauge it, but it seems far better than tradition non stick surfaces.
It’s been over a year now since I bought mine and I have used the ever living daylights out of it. I’ve never put it in the dishwasher, so all the wear and tear is directly from use. It’s honestly wonderful as things don’t really stick to it but that being said after just over a year it has begun to have things stain it. I brown my meat before putting it in my insta pot so it’s several minutes in low oil on each side depending on what meat. Then I use a broth or other stock to get the flavor bits off the pan. This time, however, they didn’t come off fully and I’ve scrubbed at it with dawn dish soap for over an hour to no avail. I’m definitely going to buy another one, but I do wish it was more durable and lasted longer than a year and a few months.
Bought this on a Thanksgiving deal. I seasoned it as advised and gave it a regular use. Stains developed after a use or two. After a couple of uses, things got pretty sticky and didn't go away even on a thorough wash either. Bad piece. Had to return it.
These are the worst pans ever! They worked well for about a month, and now everything we cook in them sticks like crazy! We have non stick pans from 20 years ago, that work better than this. Even sausage patties with oil will stick to these pans. The non-stick was awesome for the first 5-6 times we used them, and now everything sticks!
washed it and set it on my glass cook top stove. The bottom was warped! Used it anyway. I cooked unevenly. Returning to store!
I liked that at first nothing stuck to the skillet. But after a couple of uses everything stuck to it. And it was very hard to clean the stuck stuff off. So I ended throwing it away.
