This pressure cooker is a lifesaver. It cooks food so quickly and is easy to clean. The first dish I made was lentil soup and it was done in 15 minutes tasting like perfection. I can rave about it enough. I highly recommend it if you are on a budget and have little time to spend cooking.
This is a great little pressure cooker. It is easy to clean (very important for me). I have cooked chuck roasts, potatoes, corn on the cob and several other items in it with excellent results. The 6 quart size works perfect for two to four people. I am extremely pleased with this Faberware pressure cooker and would definitely recommend it!
Whee when my instant pot got broken, I did not have a lot of spare money to get another. My mom always used this type, so I took a chance and found I love using it! Needed it to make beef stew. I love how tender the meat and veggies are when made In this. I found it easier than the instant pots to use. Much more simplified and doesn’t take up a lot of room for storage.
It works great at an unbeatable price —Walmart offers Every Day Low Prices, making it much cheaper than Amazon and Target. Plus, sometimes it has “Walmart Cash Offers” for extra savings. For the best value, always check that it’s “sold %26 shipped by Walmart.”
For its prize, this is big and very very effective! Now I am able to tenderize pork shoulder butt or other tougher beef cuts in just 15mins. It is straight forward to use and it has additional safety features.
this thing is absolutely amazing. just make sure you watch it keep it clean sometimes you have to readjust the seal when it starts leaking. just rewash it set it back again. don't overfill it past the screw points of the handles and you'll be fine. just made beans in about an hour yesterday and I was amazed by the flavor. I've been cooking with this thing now for months.
I love Farberware products. Great quality the only thing I was disappointed in was it doesn't have a bottom rack. This is the first pressure cooker I ever owned without one. I enjoy the quick cooking when making pot roast potatoes for salad and stew
Ordered online. Arrived within 2 days. Not a problem since I don't think that I'll be able to use it for a while. The box had clearly been opened (this is why I prefer to shop in person... I can pick out which item I buy). It was not listed as an "open box" item (I don't like boxes that might be missing parts or returns that might not work or have damages). There were cardboard pieces that were clearly designed to be spacers or to protect parts. They were out of place and empty... randomly stuck in there. What were they supposed to do? Is something missing? I don't know. I have never used or owned a pressure cooker before, but I've been wanting to try it. I'm disabled and can't stand long. I look forward to trying it, but it may be a while. Why do you send "open box" items, factory rejects, and other misc products items? Many of us who shop online are disabled. That's why we have no choice to buy online. We can't get out, or it's harder to get out only to find items out of stock in the store. If you have open or damaged boxes, sell them as such, not "as new."
There's nothing covering. The steamhole to keep larger particles out and it plugs, and it doesn't operate the way it should. You have to continuously remove the topper and cool it off and shove the particles back down inside or take the lid off and rinse it off and put it all back together.Just not a very good design
This pressure cooker is clearly a low-quality product. When washing it, scratches appear easily, and the material is so light — it's definitely not stainless steel. The overall build feels cheap and flimsy. The plastic part of the lid is rough and poorly finished. I strongly advise others not to buy this product! Yes, it's cheap — but it's still a waste of money, because the moment you use it, it completely ruins your mood for cooking at home. The product photos look beautiful, but the real item is nothing like them. It's made from thin aluminum, or possibly even worse than aluminum. Very misleading! I ended up purchasing a new pressure cooker made of 316 stainless steel, and the difference is like night and day — far superior in every way. Even though I've already used this one, I sincerely hope the seller will allow me to return it and get a refund!
