Farberware Pro Stainless Steel Portable Can Opener with Black Handle

I have used many different can openers and have not continued with most of them, because of the awkwardness of trying to hold them in my arthritic hands! This can opener was different! It was easy to hold with a good vinyl grip and a smooth turning mechanism! It was easy to open the can, even with my arthritis! A really great compact canopen!

I would definitely recommend this can opener. I had one and I gave it to my granddaughter and had to purchase one for myself. Opens fine and cuts cans great.

This can opener works smoothly and feels comfortable in the hand. It grips the can well and opens without the annoying slipping or struggling that happens with cheaper ones. It feels sturdy for regular use and is compact enough to store easily. A simple kitchen tool, but a very useful one.

the old model had longer handles and was a bit easier. to use. the compact model just doesn't feel as easy. otherwise the opener is great and a very good value and a has lifetime warranty.

The handle is nice. It bites into the can well, however, when you're turning, sometimes it turns in place without moving so you have to give either the can a shove or turn the opener a little more roughly. Nice, lightweight and worth the cost though.

It works. Im not sure how long it will last. I can be wrong and pleasantly surprised, but when you turn it, it does not feel sturdy. Perfect for light use to have on hand, but may not be best for a busy kitchen. I tegret nit spending nire and buying the version above this

Feels low quality in your hand. Guess for the price it's expected. Used a couple of times and disliked it. I'm pretty laid back and don't expect a lot so for me to say something negative it's bad. Low quality and sub par regarding it opening consistently is bottom line review.

Awful can opener. Barely worked from day 1. Here we are 2 weeks later and my 24 year old son (who has a physical job) just took 20 minutes to open 6 cans because I was unable to do it. Would NOT recommend, it's going in the garbage as soon as I get a different one.

this can opener worked well for the first month (maybe 8 uses). then it stopped working. it is incredibly hard to turn the handle and the blade doesn't cut well anymore. we gave it proper care, no water submergion and wiping the blade clean (making sure it was dry before putting it away). i don't recommend it.

worked for maybe a week before it started failing to open some cans, then any. gears started skipping, taking increasingly more power to open cans. awful QC, not worth the money at all. farberware isn't what it used to be.
