(8 pack) Mainstays Stainless Steel and Plastic Waiter's Corkscrew Bottle Opener, Black

Previously I have always purchased the rechargeable corkscrew and they don't hold up so I decided to return to the tried and true it was a great decision and I love these products and they consistently do a great job!

The Mainstays Waiters Corkscrew Bottle opener Stainless Steel & Plastic opener is perfect for any occasion. I used it for opening soda cans while camping and it worked great, especially if you have short fingernails. It is great for opening Glass Soda Bottles, any bottle which requires a cork screw. It is handy to have and is comfortable to carry in your pocket. It very versatile for its many opening capabilities, if this is what you are looking for, you have found it in this handy opener.

I recently received the Mainstays Waiters Corkscrew Bottle Opener to review as part of Walmart's sparkreviewer program. It's a combination tool in that it has a bottle opener on one end and a corkscrew on the other (see picture). The metal parts are all stainless steel and the casing is made of black plastic and it is relatively nice looking for a bar tool. The corkscrew end has 3 separate parts that can be folded in and out for easy use. There is a corkscrew that twists into the cork, as metal grip that sits on the wine bottle and gives you leverage to pull it out and a small knife that you can unfold and use to cut the foil off the cork. With the corkscrew components folded in it looks like just a regular bottle opener. It's compact enough to throw in a purse or bag for travel and is easy to use. I had no trouble removing a bottle cap or opening a bottle of wine with it and it's easy enough to clean. My only concern is with the black plastic casing that the corkscrew pieces fold into, it feels a little flimsy and for this reason I dropped it down to 4 stars.

The cork helper part is trash. The part you pin it against the bottle to gain leverage to pull the cork out. It will brake the first time you try to use it. Everything else is okay quality.

I have weak hands and yet this corkscrew bent almost 90 degree on first use. The part that grips the bottle‘s lip also bent outward. Total junk.

I bought 2 of these and bent both of them on one cork, that stayed in the bottle after bending. junk item.

Broke first time we tried to use it
