Farberware Soft Grips Can Opener in Black with Red Accents

The can opener is very well designed; just too easily vandalized. My landlord has now twice bent one if these out of shape, but the second time, I figured out how to bend it back into shape and it's now like new. I'm afraid I'm used to openers made of a sturdier metal. But so long as it's not a victim of malicious mischief, it opens cans better than any opener I've ever owned.

It sure is hard to use and I have had a lot of issues...Even worse when my hands are hurting...not good at all.

garbage used it 4 times and now when you turn it to open a can it doesn't bite the can the right way and it slips (should have bought the electric one)

This is about the worst manual can opener I have ever used. During the FIRST use, it didn't want to clamp onto the can. When I finally got it to catch, it wouldn't cut into the lid. The metal for the handles is thin and weak, and the handles kept bending to sideways even though I was using downward pressure. These are going back!

First use and it pops the can on initial placement of the can opener onto the can, but as you spin the handle to go around the can, it DOES NOT open the can...it slides right off. The cutter just goes around in a circle, but does not cut. Useless. Very disappointed that I spent $10 on this.

The only thing this can opener did was puncture the can. When I turned the handle it did nothing. I had to open and close the handles repeatedly to puncture the can enough to get my tuna out. Unfortunately I threw out my old one before trying this one and all it needed was the handle glued back on. Other than that it was perfect. Lessen learned.

I ordered an electric can opener. I received a manual can opener. Not at all what I ordered. You already have a pic of the manual can opener.

Very hard to use, never should have thrown out my old one. Tried to use it to open can of soup, did not work! Had to throw out partially opened soup!

This is a piece of useless junk. This is the second Farberware Can Opener I've purchased in the last year. The first was a different model but it too was useless. I'm disappointed that Walmart sells such junk!

I thought spending a little extra would result in a better product. I was wrong. It worked ok for the first couple of uses, now it is impossible to get it to cut around the entire top. It is a danger
