Farberware Soft Grips Pastry Blender with Stainless Steel Blades and Black Handle

Works well for cutting shortening into flour and mixing ingredients for crumble topping. I like the improved shape of the blender. The handle could be a little larger in diameter for a more comfortable grasp, but over all it is satisfactory. The blades are heavier duty than the old one I had. That one was at least 40 yrs old. I hope this one will also "cut" strawberries, even tho the blades are thicker.

The product is great. It's study and just great for making pie dough to biscuits. I really didn't think I needed this blender but it does blend fast. Cut my work in half.

This pastry blender gets the job done without being unwieldy for people with smaller hands. It's easy to clean and has a comfortable handle. I'm pleased with this purchase.

Should have bought this years ago. My pie crusts finally are nice and light. They don't come out like heavy or hard thin bricks. I could actually feel proud of my product. The tines (I'm not sure what the bottom part is called) blends the cold butter and flour without melting the butter which is important in getting a light tender crust. It is worth getting if you like making pies but have not made a good crust.

I love this pastry blender!!! It has very sharp blades so I use it for lots of stuff -- cookie cutting, especially, for this one kind of cookie I make. It works great for everything. It is really, really sharp, so be careful storing it. It's a great tool to have in the kitchen.

Nice handle and easy to use. Just what I needed.

Constructed very well and does the job but not meant for someone with large hands. It is usable with someone with large hand just not very comfortable. Still a good solid product. Help me blend the butter/shortening in the flour much faster without it melting and keeping it cold.

I have medium sized women's hands and this pastry blender is only wide enough for a child or a tiny woman's hands. I highly suggest you measure your hand and compare to the product before purchasing.
