Farberware Stainless Steel Mini Locking Tongs with Silicone Tips, 2 Count, in Assorted Colors

These are just the right size for my small hands to handle and to store nicely in my utensil drawer. I don't think they'd be long enough to safely handle deep frying, but for everything else they'll be fine. I like silicone utensils because I can use them for everything, including my nonstick pans. Very pleased.

Good product …. I have several pair that needed to do replaced. They were shoeing ware around the rubber area….. this is after about 10 years of use!

I use the tongs "chopstick style", for keeping my hands clean when eating snacks. Perfect size to grab and eat a chip, or a few kernels of popcorn. Especially good for eating Cheetos/Doritos. Use the locking feature, to clip and seal my snack bags shut. Also the best, for non stick cook ware. Price is really good for 2 well made, metal tongs!

These quality-built Farberware silicon tongs were really easy to use and were very handy to have around the kitchen and grill. I love that the stainless steal things were coated with a silicon cover so that it did not scratch my pots and pans. The silicone could still handle really hot temps from the grill or a pan of boiling water. They were also easy to clean and safe for the dishwasher. They had a little clip at the base of the tong that let them lock in place. This also reduced the amount of space they took up in the drawer and allowed them to lay flatter in the drawer. I liked that they came in two colors, and they appear to be durable. My favorite thing about them is that that made cooking corn easy! I always struggled to get the corn out of the pot and so when I saw these go on sale, I picked them up! I think they are absolutely worth the value of money to have a pair in your kitchen and I recommend the Farberware brand!

First of all, the name Farberware told me it would be good quality. It's short, so your fingers could easily get burned using a pair of these over hot pans, on the stove. i needed a short silicone tong, with a good grip for removing 4" metal cake pans from my electric lunch box. i use the little cake pans to warm soups and other loose canned food. The sturdiness of the tongs and the heat resistant silicone make it an easy, safe task. A longer pair of tongs would be akward for this.

AT FIRST WHEN WE GOT THESE WE THOUGHT, OH OH, THEY'RE AWFUL SMALL, WE MADE A MISTAKE, BUT THEN WE STARTED USING THEM AND THEY'RE THE PERFECT SIZE, THEY WORK GREAT, THEY'RE ACTUALLY SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE BIG TONGS...

These do most jobs and a nice size but the feel just isn't there. They feel cheap. I don't expect them to do every job i might need.

These tongs are really cheaply made. I would not recommend them at all. The one set with the little metal piece that is supposed to hold. It closed is so loose that when you go to use it, they don't stay open at all very inconvenient.

Love the everything about these tongs except that the locking mechanism slides down while in use. I have to hold them a differently because of that.

These are not made for any oven or pan use on a stove. They are very short and only good for taking bread out of a toaster. These should have been twice as long to prevent oil splatters on the hands from stove use or to prevent burns from taking things out of an oven. I will gave to look elsewhere for the proper length.
