If price were no object, I would STILL choose this blending system! All the problems I've encountered with other blenders are fixed in this one. With the Farberware, no more having to stick utensils in the bottom of a stuck blender every time you are trying to blend something; it's heavyweight pitcher with a very wide bottom and powerful motor move ingredients like a dream! Its sharp blades crush ice or frozen berries with ease (and you can even crush ice in the smoothie cup)! It's tight seal lid and suction cup leg grips permit you to leave the room while blending without a second thought! Its 'clean' setting allows for multi-use action without tainting flavors! Best blending system I have ever owned! It would make a great housewarming or wedding gift.

I've been having the same old outdated blender for years, and I was definitely ready for a nice modern upgrade, and boy did I get lucky with this new Farberware Blending system as my upgrade.  This set comes with everything needed and more.  Included is a large glass blending jar,  4 cup chopper attachment,  single serving travel jar with its lid, and the  digital touch panel base.  The blending jar is made of heavy boron glass, and it feels very  well made and sturdy.  The chopper is plastic and light weight, and comes with its own blade attachment.  The travel jar is a plastic 20 oz jar that is perfect for single serve smoothies or shakes.  The base is all digital so no grooves or buttons are present which is perfect for cleaning and disinfecting it well.  The blender comes with many modes to choose from like ice crush, puree, smoothie, pulse, and even a cleaning mode.  I like it so much that I have been making shakes for breakfast every day just to get an excuse to use it.  Not only that but the chopper has made my life much easier.  Pico de gallo, guacamole, and all types of veggie chopping is now done in seconds.  I had no idea what I was missing and how much time I was waist.  I am so happy with my new blender and all its bells and whistles.

The blender is made by Farberware, it has a powerful 800 watt motor base, just push one button, and it easily crushes Ice. There is also buttons to puree, pulse, and chopping. Speeds are high, low, and then the off, on button, it even has a cleaning button, they are all located on a capacitive touch IMD control panel, on the front, top of the blender. There is a Sharp 4 tip stainless steel blade, for the 50 ounce glass blender jar, and travel cup, so you take your smoothie with you to work, or play. the chopper bowl comes with its own blade plus a lid, and shaft to attach it to the base. The motor is not overly loud it's what you would expect while using the blend or chopping features. I like searching for new smoothie recipes, and some require ice, and my old blender has a plastic blender jar, and making recipes with the ice cubes would make me nervous cause I would always think the ice was gonna crack the jar, because it's so violent when spinning around, but the glass makes me feel more secure about it, cause it's really thick, and heavy. I also like blending my hot soups with the glass jar I was afraid the heat could melt the plastic one, or let off chemicals into my food. It also has four suction cups to help keep it in place.

This blender is a great one better than the last one I had. It blends very well doesnt leave chunks very smooth. I love the digital settings not push buttons. Easy to use. I use the smoothie setting just push the digital setting and it blends great and will cut off when blended you dont have to cut it off. It also comes with a chopper and travel cup. I havent used the chopper alot but it works good it chops good how you like it alot or just a little. The only thing they could have done better is made to be more quiet. Its a little loud for me.

This is definitely an appliance you need in your kitchen. It comes with a blender, a chopper, and a travel cup that should hold no more than the maximum of 20 ounces of liquid. I love the digital settings and it is powerful enough to chop and blend the things you need. The base of the blender has suction feet to help it remain in place. However, you still have to hold it when it's in use because it's so powerful that it still shakes when it is being used. There are four (4 ) settings (smoothie, crush, chop, pulse). There is a single serve setting when you are using the single serve travel cup. The chopper jar/bowl comes with it's own blades and you just attach it to the motor unit to use it. The chopper has two settings; chop or pulse. When using the chopper add dry ingredients only and cut up the vegetables or fruit in small pieces.The cover for the chopper has a twist lock which makes it easy to open and close. In addition, the plastic that this chopper jar/bowl is made from scratches easily; I just used it once to chop onions, scallions & peppers and I saw scratches on the container after it was used and I washed it. I also chopped some carrots and the jar/bowl became stained with the color of the carrots, so I had to soak the jar afterwards for a couple of hours. This blending system is very loud and because the motor is powerful it shakes the jar/bowl when It's in use, so you have to watch and hold the jar/bowl so it doesn't fall over. Furthermore, you cannot put this chopper jar/bowl or the travel cup in a microwave per the warnings listed. This blending system does get to job done; unfortunately it is just too noisy . I prefer a Blending System that is much quieter.

Hello All! I recently received the ‘Farberware Blending System’ for review purposes, and I really like that the main blending jar is made of glass and not plastic. First things first, out of the box- I wondered where the speed buttons were. It was an ‘Ah Ha’ moment, when I discovered they were part of the digital touch panel sensor instead, (which are very responsive and have a sleek look when on or off.) Also, I liked that it came with a 20 oz travel jar for quick and easy use… Single serve slushy drinks, Frozen Coffee etc. Unfortunately, when trying to use the travel jar it kept leaking from the lid and causing a mess on the counter. I assume from the little spring-loaded mechanism on the blending lid. I tried multiple times to secure the blending lid, it says to line the arrow up with the unlock symbol etc, but nothing worked. If it weren’t for this, I would have given a better rating. The Farberware Blending System with All-In-One Versatility comes with great accessories including the 4 cup chopper and the two things mentioned above, Glass blending jar that has a unlockable top for adding things during mid- blend and the 20 oz travel jar. Would I recommend, Sure, the blender is wonderful. I would not purchase for the travel jar due to my ‘opportunities’.

I bought this blender this is my 2nd one of this brand 1st one started leaking at the seal after 2 yrs of smoothie making everyday. It done it's fair share of work. The reason for buying another of the brand very 1st time using it, it leaks really bad around the seal worse than the 2yr old one.
