It might sound strange to describe razor blades as being too sharp, but that might prove to be very much the case with Feather. Most double edge razor aficionados know that not all razors (and blades) are created equal. My advice to you is that these blades be used with a mild razor, or one that is a perhaps a medium, but if you choose these for an aggressive razor….be careful! In an aggressive razor you must be exceedingly careful and precise. Not for the first timer……

since we switched to these safety razors, we haven't looked back! I love shaving with my safety razor and these blades are no joke. It takes a lot of mindfulness to make sure I am not going to cut myself since they are very sharp. with their sharpness, it also means that they are extremely easy to use and give me the smoothest shave! I love them so much and they are a great value as there are so many that come in a pack. I can use these for quite a few shaves since my hair is quite thin and fine.

Just what we were looking for. So pleased Walmart carried the razors.

Like I said, very sharp when first used, but second use is less than ideal. If I was one of you guys who use a new blade for every shave, I'd be thrilled with these. However, I'm kind of a cheapskate when it comes to shaving. I'll use a blade as long as it keeps cutting. I can force a Feather blade to last up maybe 5 shaves, but the 20 year old platinum-plated, tungsten-coated, hardened stainless-steel English blades that I'm trying to replace might last for 20. Another small thing, these blades are a tiny bit narrower than average, which causes me to adjust my old Gillette to its most aggressive setting on first use. I suppose this could be a cause of the short life of the edge. The Feather blades seem okay for the price, but I can't consider them premium quality.

It is an extremely sharp, aggressive, razor blade and you get exactly what you pay for. My impression is that the blade does not hold that edge past three shaves and needs replacing.

I shave 4 to 5 times a week. These Start out sharp but only last about 2 good shaves. Usually by the 3rd, I start getting razor burn.

when i received the razors i opened the package and to my surprise they where miniature sized. probably half the size of real razor blades. thanks for the extra trouble having to return them.
