I've used an old safety razor for almost 20 years that was an item from a deceased relative. I loved it and believe it was made in 1963. Shaved so much closer and cheaper than modern disposables or electrics I couldn't stand the idea of replacing it. After much shopping online for a new one I decided to play it safe and buy the least expensive one with high ratings I could find. This razor shaves closer and much easier than my old one. I wish I would have replaced it many years ago. There is no need for anything more than this, it is smooth, easy to handle to avoid nicks or cuts, looks nice and very inexpensive. Excellent razor %26 value!

I looked at other safety razors from Amazon, etc. but this was the best value. The blades are very sharp and work well. It took me a minute to figure out how to shave with it and there have been a few cuts but not bad. This will be much less expensive than any disposable plastic razor. An added benefit is it is more environmentally friendly. Try it out. It might be right for you also.

Tired of cheap plastic toss-away razors with half a dozen blades; clumsy to use and clog constantly. Great to have a good, dependable, old style double edge that i can get quality blades for!

This is a really great razor. I bought it because I was tired of the unclogging process with my 3 blade razor. This one is significantly better and doesn’t clog as easily. Shave has been really close. There is a learning curve if you’ve never shaven with it before so I suggest watching a YouTube video or 2 before starting.

I really like this Viking Revolution razor. Or maybe it's just the fact that I've been using a cheap razor or the last few years. But it sure seems to make a smooth process out of shaving. And what I really like is the ease of changing blades.

I have a razor that only takes single edged blades and the cost for replacements is about a $1.00 each vs. this razor that takes double-edged blades for about 10 cents each. The razor is well balanced, does a great job of outlining the beard, and will cut you just like you'd expect it to if you don't prep properly and pay attention to what you are doing. There is no magic here, just great value vs. other "modern" options.

The quality is great! I need to relearn how to use a safety razor. I haven't cut myself in YEARS and I cut myself with this. The blades are so sharp that I didn't feel a thing when I was cut.
