It clips on with ease and since it comes in a 2 pack , I put the other clip in my son room and so far it has helped with the odor in there .

However I was disappointed that I had it on the lowest setting and it didn't last as long as advertised. I think it lasted about 3 weeks, so it is still a decent value for what you're getting. I will probably continue to use these!
