Febreze Origins Fade Defy PLUG Air Freshener %26 Odor Fighter, WOOD is my favorite scent. I use the 8.80oz spray bottles. I love this scent the best! DISAPPOINTED BUYERS READ BELOW If you're disappointed in the WOOD plug-in scent compared to the air freshener spray, come closer, I'll share my secret with you on "how to" achieve the SAME exact scent in your Febreze Plug-in. 1. Purchase the EMPTY (no product inside) Febreze Plug-in oil holders. These are the best plug-in universal fragrance oil dispensers available on the market. If you already have these then use the ones you have. 2. Purchase Febreze Air WOOD scent in the 8.8 oz SPRAY CANS. 3. Purchase "Better Homes %26 Gardens Universal Fragrance Oil, Soft Cashmere %26 Amber" this will be your base oil. DIRECTIONS Step 1: Take the "Better Homes %26 Gardens Universal Fragrance Oil, Soft Cashmere %26 Amber" and fill one side of the glass containers completely up then replace cap. Make sure the cap in back on tight. Step 2: Open the other side of the glass bottles. Step 3: Take your Febreze Air WOOD "spray can" and hold it directly above the opening of the empty glass container close to the opening. Slowly spray in a small amount. I only use a small amount (1/4 of the bottle) as I find the scent to be strong and I don't need a lot of it. I have not filled the second bottle with the WOOD spray as I think it will be too strong. Step 4: Fill the remainder of the bottle with "Better Homes %26 Gardens Universal Fragrance Oil, Soft Cashmere %26 Amber" universal fragrance oil. Then replace the cap tightly. Step 5: Make sure to clean the bottles, check the caps to make sure they're back on tightly before placing inside of the plug-in dispenser. Viola! Your home will now smell like Febreze Air WOOD scent. The Febreze Air Spray cans come with 8.8 oz so they're last a long, long time only filling 1/4 of a bottle of both bottles, however intense your want your scent. I do not recommend filling a bottle of both bottles all of the way with the Febreze Air WOOD spray can. The scent will be too strong! Instead, follow my instructions. The "Better Homes %26 Gardens Universal Fragrance Oil, Soft Cashmere %26 Amber" comes in a 5 oz bottle for $7.00 but one bottle will fill up several plug-in bottles. INFORMATION ABOUT THE SCENTS USED 1. Febreze Air WOOD features notes of amber, oud and cedar. 2. Better Homes %26 Gardens Universal Fragrance Oil, "Soft Cashmere %26 Amber universal fragrance oil" features notes of bergamot, amber, citrus, sandalwood, patchouli, peppercorn, cassis, and moss. Side Note: Scent (to round out your scent) but not needed. Only if YOU want a stronger patchouli scent. 3. Spiritual Sky patchouli oil is very, very strong. If you want to add more of a deeper earthy, woodsy patchouli scent purchase a 1/4 oz bottle of Spiritual Sky (brand) patchouli oil. You literally ONLY NEED to add 1 to 3 drops, max!!! If you use too much you'll regret it. I use 1 drop the most, 2 drops max! A tiny bottle will last you many months to a year. A small 1/4 oz bottle costs $9.99 and two bottles $14.99 on Amazon. For me, I find placing the plug-in dispenser in the middle on the medium setting gives me the best overall experience without the scent being too light or overpowering. The initial start up cost can be expensive depending on the size of your home. Regardless, this will save you money over the long run. Start with one room if you must and each month add a new room until you reach your goals. The bottles only need to be filled every 1.5 to 3 months depending on the dispenser setting. I use the medium setting so my bottles last 2 to 2.5 months. I hope you'll be able to handcraft your favorite home scent to perfection as I have. Enjoy!

My absolute favorite scent! I've been using the Febreeze Wood scent for years and I love it-so does everyone who comes into my house! It isn't feminine or flowery-reminds me of the men's cologne Aramis. Definitely recommend!

The smell isn't very strong. The woods is my favorite of the sprays and I can't even smell it in this thing. I got the vanilla one that's new to try kn my bathroom and it smells so much stronger and it smells good too if you like the more masculine type of smells
