I didn't need one notebook. Apparently I needed sixteen, and I have plans for all of them.
These are small, simple notebooks, but the assortment of colored spines is what makes the set useful. Instead of my current system of one notebook (and dozens of scraps of paper)containing a chaotic mixture of measurements, phone calls, shopping notes and things I need to remember, I can give each subject its own color and grab the right one at a glance.
The smaller size also makes sense to me (the notebooks are on the smaller size, so note measurements prior to purchase). These aren't meant for writing novels. They are best suited for note taking.
My plan is to label the covers, keep the active ones together, and retire each notebook when the subject is finished or there is not a single line left to enter a note. For someone with a lot of small projects going at once, this ridiculously cheerful little stack may turn out to be an organizational system disguised as stationery.
