Feit Electric Smart LED 9 Watts (60W Equivalent) Soft White Light Bulb, A19, Medium (E26), Dimmable

There are no instructions anywhere in the package. On top of the box there is a QR coded to scan to download install instructions. So, I scan it with my phone, it opens a website that says page not available. Well so much for that. You can go to feit.com/help to try to find it. But after visiting the site and trying to find it I just figure they have an app and search on google for Feit. Sure enough, they have one. You have to pair it with Bluetooth so make sure Bluetooth is "on" on your phone and the bulb is in pairing mode (blinking). It finds your bulb, then you have to setup the wireless so it can connect to your router. If you have a dual band router, your phone must be connected to the 2.4ghz band as the bulb will only connect to this band. Once set up you need to use the Google Home or Alexa app to add it there. I had no problem setting it up with Google Home but for some reason Alexa wouldn't connect to Alexa. Alexa said try again but no go. It probably does work with Alexa but maybe Amazon was just having a bad day. I use a Google Mini so I gave up on trying ALexa. After installation is complete you just say, "Hey google turn on the white bulb (or whatever you named it) and "turn off white bulb". It dims as well. You can say dim the light to 75 percent or whatever and it will be done. Haven't tried it away from home but I'm sure this would work. One more thing. This bulb will work without the smart features. Upon plugging it in, after blinking and while waiting to pair, if not paired it will stay fully on. All in all it's a great bulb. Feit could be better at having instructions available. You need to be a little tech savy to set it up but I would say this is akin to setting up a Google mini or Amazon echo. Hope this helps someone.

This is the best invention since the light bulb was created! Who would've ever thought they'd create a bulb you can control with just an app on your phone. You can turn the bulb on and off and adjust the brightness. I love this bulb. It's also easy to pair to your phone. I can't wait to try the color bulb!

This is my first time using a smart light bulb. I hooked it up to my google nest. It's very simple to use and set it. You do need to download Feit's app in order to hook it up to your google home network but that's very common. Almost all brands require you to do that. Once you download the app, link it to your google or Alexa system. It's like magic. I use this by the dinning room where it's sorta hard to reach for the on and off switch. It works great!

This Feit Smart LED Bulb works well and was easy to set up. I was able to get it working with my Alexa system flawlessly. The color is a warm white in the 2700 Kelvin range (the orange/yellow light spectrum). It is lightweight and put off good brightness. It has only been in use for a couple weeks now and so far so good and responds well to voice command and recommend.

We've only been using this bulb about 2 weeks, but it works fine so far with Alexa. We travel and like that we can use an app to turn lights on and off, so it appears someone is home. Much easier and better than setting a timer that will only turn on and off at the same time every day. We like the dimming capability too. We hope the three year warranty means the bulb will last at least that long. My only complaint is that the light looks a little more yellow than white, so we use it in a fixture that takes a single bulb rather than than one that needs multiple bulbs, or we use it where we don't prefer a whiter light. Overall happy.

So with most things at 5g it was not the easy to connect. I had to turn my phone to wifi and turn my home wifi off. That took a few tries, but once I got off the 5g network it was sooth and quick. You have to make sure the light is flashing slowly. So I did not understand the two flashing modes, which took a few trials of the light not flashing at all to realize you have to do the on/off sequence to change the flashing speed. Again, once I figure it out, smooth and quick. The only caveat is that this light is not bright at all. From 100% to 25% is not that much of a difference. The light allows you to set a timer to come on and go off which is a plus if you come home late. If you have it on the porch you can have it set to be on when you arrive. Also, you can control the light on your phone. Plus again if you have it over a garage, in a garage, front porch, foyer, etc to be on when entering in the dark which you can also use to control the dimmer as well via your phone. Commands well to Alexa. After all I did to sync it, I dare not do it to Siri. Outside of the lack of brightness, I would say this is a good porch or nightstand light. Not to bright but bright enough to luminate the area immediate around it with plenty light. I would purchase again for porches, nightlights but not a bathroom light or an area where optimal lighting is best.

I didn't realize when I got this that it was a smart wifi bulb and wondered why it started blinking when it turned on. I decided to try it and see if it would work for me. The first problem I had was lack of instructions on how to set it up. There is a QR code on the top of the box but it was kind of faded so it took a minute for it to work. Upon trying everything I could find like how many ghs my wifi was and apparently I don't meet the required amount, looking up the feit website, installing the app, trying to pair it, I determined I cannot use this so I really cannot give it a full review. I am sure this bulb will work great for anyone that meets the requirements for it's use. I liked the idea of being able to have my light on in the house before I got home if I was out at night so that in itself would have been a plus for me.

It's definitely not something that I would purchase normally. The app and the lightbulb didn't want to interact with each other very easily. It took a lot of trial and error before they decided to work and I hope they stay paired otherwise I'm going to just throw it away.

I guess I didn't understand what a "smart bulb" is! Anyway, I don't have a smart house or smart lamps, just a regular old lamp. All I got was a blinking light when I put this bulb in. I'm sure it would work fine for a smart home. Still trying to find something in the house that I can use it on. I think I need somebody smart to help with this.

Do not buy. I bought 3 times because I thought it was a one off. One works but the other 3 were duds and would blink on and off. I contacted Feit and they sent me a replacement but that one also did the same, lol. Something is going on with one of the lot numbers of their products so I'd recommend just not buying or wasting your money.
