I wanted this bulb to put in a light fixture that was next to my recliner so that when I was watching television, I could mute the TV and just have it play next to my ear so that didn't disturb the rest of the house. Paired easily and quickly and has a great sound and light.

Better than expected! You definitely want to get 2 of these to go in the same room. The second bulb will connect to the first one and play in...stereo. There's all the difference in the world in the sound using 2 bulbs instead of one. As far as volume, no problems with that either. That may depend on the device you've connected to the bulbs. The only downside is when you turn off your music the speakers will hum (until you turn off the lamp). The hum is not loud though. I highly recommend these bulbs, but get 2 of them.

Love this only thing about it is if there's alot of people talking, it's hard to hear it because it doesn't go but so loud other than that it's great

The light is a nice soft white and is comparable in brightness to the other leds in my lamps. The bulb speaker's Bluetooth connected to my phone easily and has continued to do so each time I turn it on. The only negative is that I wish the speaker was a little louder. I use it to listen to audiobooks while I am working around the house and can barely hear it in a connecting room. I might have to buy another one to get the sound range I want.

I bought these to use in the lamps at our airbnb. Good sound and light and connects easily to your Bluetooth.

Kids thought this was pretty magical, works ok, not too long of a Bluetooth range. Only issue I've noticed is after a period of use the speaker shuts off, I assume maybe it gets too hot

I'm reviewing the Fiet LED Bluetooth light bulb. First of all, I have to say that I've been playing around with it for about a week and trying it around different locations to see if there was any difference in the quality. I found it extremely easy to use. Screw it into any standard light bulb socket and when you turn on the light, it immediately starts to beep that it's pairing. "Feit Speaker Bulb" appeared on my phone's first device scan and it's been paired since. I've tried it on my desk lamp, a living room lamp and on my bedside lamp. I found that the sound quality was decent and served my needs but the volume level was somewhat limited. It is louder and clearer than my phone speaker but still not as loud than my other portable BT speakers. In my experiments, I found that the bulb in the living room lamp was as bright as a normal bulb but the speaker sounded too far away. At my night stand, the sound was closer and more intimate but the bulb was too bright. I feel that I found my perfect location at my desk. Nice and bright for my workspace and the sound is close enough to listen to my music a bit more comfortably. What I like most is that I turn on my desk lamp and I immediately hear the BT beeping and pairing to my phone automatically without any effort from me since I originally paired them. Once I'm done working, my lamp is turned off and the BT turns off also. The sound quality is good enough for having a bit of soft background music while I work. Something else I like (but haven't tried yet) is that the instructions say it can pair with a second "Fiet Speaker Bulb" for a more surrounding stereo effect. This might improve the experience I had with my living room lamps. There are a few limitations tho. It's only a speaker and can't do two way calls. When a call or notification comes on my phone, the speaker automatically switches audio back to my phone. I find that tolerable because I usually prefer to keep my calls more private but I know that some people prefer to use speaker phone and this BT doesn't do it. Also, there is no backup battery to keep playing music with the light off. The light has to be ON for the BT to be connected and use the speaker. This made it inconvenient for my nightstand because sometimes I like to listen to music to fall asleep but this bright light has to stay on. Overall, I genuinely like it best at my desk. The sound quality is decent and the bulb is nice and bright to work with. It actually fits a need that I didn't know I had until I tried it. I'm give it 4 stars only because of it not being compatible for calls but it's very good as JUST a speaker. If you have a device that's Bluetooth compatible such as a TV or stereo that won't be interrupted by calls or notifications, it will suit you perfectly. The music interruptions on my phone weren't really a problem for me since I usually mute my music for calls anyway but I still would have liked to have the option to choose for myself anyway. Yes, I could definitely recommend the Feit Bluetooth Speaker Bulb to a friend to fit any basic Bluetooth speaker or light bulb needs.

Bulb too big wouldn't fit. This is basically a standard led bulb with a speaker added on top thus making it too large. If the speaker was recessed inside the build it would be a perfec speaker bulb. As is it's a waste of a purchase and returned for refund. I'm sure as the technology improves the size will get smaller. Good idea but it is what it is.
