Feit Electric 8.8W (60W Equivalent) Color Selectable, Timer, A19 Medium (E26) Base, LED Light Bulb

I'm so happy I found these! I love to use these bulbs when I'm going to be out of town, to make it look as if someone is home. They work perfect! I set them up throughout my house on lamps and hallway, ceiling light fixtures. I be sure and adjust their off and on time, it's easy to do. And in my front room I have them on two different lamps, to make it look like I turned the light off at a certain time and then back on about an hour later. They aren't cheap, but worth every penny for my home and peace of mind. I was gone for almost two months and the bulbs did not burned out.

Pros: I've used several Feit specialty bulbs and have been pleased every time (except once, but I exchanged it). It's good at imitating being home without the triple-purchase of a timer, bulb, and lamp. This timer bulb works quite well. I bought three. Cons: Although, I would ninny some about whether it's as bright as stated on either temperature. I'd say it's somewhat less than the marked 60w equiv but fine for a desk or end table lamp. Further, I wish the hours settings were a little more awake/asleep lifestyle-oriented; e.g, I would make them SU, 2, 4, 8, 15 or 16 -- rather than SU, 2 , 6, 8, 12. SU is "standard use.", no timer. Otherwise, they seem to do the job.

I use these as extra light for my plants. On up to 12hr per day (you set the amount of time) and they can be set to warm or daylight brightness.

I am very impressed with this bulb. I thought that this bulb would come with some kind of plug in for your lamp.It did not. It is the bulb itself. It has two switches on it, a choice of soft white or day light, and a 2,6,8, or 12 hour timer. Set how long you want to have the light come on for, turn the light on and wait til it goes off. The next day it will come on at the time you set it for automatically. That I was leary of as there was no day that it was set for. I was and am amazed on how it works. I like lights going on and off in my house, especially when I am not at home. Works great.

Use in coup for chickens. I got tired of turning light on every morning so this is a great solution! Easy to use.

I'm impressed with this light! First I love that I can choose between soft light and day light depending where I put it. Second the automatic timer wow! It turns on and off at the same time every day. The instructions are super easy to follow and installation is like any other light bulb. I'm really impressed and ready to change all the light bulbs in my house! Extra points ITS LED

Love this, and how wonderful to have a bulb that has the timer built into it. This is amazing and a wonderful "smart" option for any and all houses. It is easy to program and is LED so it lasts a while and gives off great light, while saving energy.

I got this bulb to use in a lamp that it is in a dark corner in my front room. It is somewhat hard to access and turn on so I don't use this lamp too much. I have the bulb set to turn on right about when it starts to get dark outside. This makes the room seem so much more pleasant in these long dark winter days. And its great I don't have to worry about turning it off. I am in and out of this room all evening so that's why I never previously used this lamp, it's just not worth it to turn it on and off again every time I come in the room for just a couple minutes. But the best thing I like about this timer bulb is that it is like an alarm for me, sometimes while working on projects, or watching a tv show, I lose track of time. If you're like me and hate the sound of an alarm going off, this is a nice alternative. It was very easy to use and understand how to set up too.

I ordered a 12 volt bulb. That's. not what I got.
