Odor reduced

Kat January 15, 2026

I didn't realize how good this litter was at reducing odors until I couldn't find it and bought a litter that looked identical but was made with newspaper instead of pine. I thought it would be the same, but the odor was awful. I like this over traditional litter because there is no dust and it's natural.

This is by far The Best litter we have used! At any given time we have had from 3/10 cats and using 7 litter boxes. We have tried every single kind of litter with all the different style boxes. My opinion is this litter with the 3 piece sifting litter box maximizes the bag and wastes nothing!!! This litter doesn’t smell. Made in the USA, bonus is it’s sustainable and the bag is recyclable at the store drop off plastic box!! A True Trifecta of Litter!!!

I've been using these pellets for months. One of the best things about them is no tracing and low dust.,and if you sift the litter box once a day and add a scope or more back to litter box you can easily only go through one 20lb bag a month depending on how many cats you have. I have 3 so I usually buy two 20lb bags. But hey for the price you pay for 2 bags that's way under what you would pay for other litter.

I love this litter! I switched from scented clumping clay litter. I love this stuff! It's easy to clean with a sifting pan and it smells like plain wood. I was worried about the smell when they have bowel movements but it dehydrates the feces so theres little to no smell. It is a little "dusty" but we'll live. There's a prop 50 warning on it which is concerning but I think this is way better than any other alternative. Would recommend

Not for thicker legs

I’ve been through a lot of cat litters over 30 years and this one is by far the best. It does not even smell after 10 days. It lasts me almost a month if not more then my cat urinate in it. It turns to sawdust but dries out very quickly, and it does not have any urine odor after about a week. I take a sifting spoon and sift out all of the big greens and throw away the dust this last time. I’ve just left the dust in there just to see if it would smell and it does not so I think I’m just going to scoop out solid waste and leave the sawdust and when all the pellets are gone, I will toss it unless it smells, which I don’t think it will. This is the best value for the money.

Highly recommended!

I have been using Feline Pine for many years and will never change back to any other litter. My cat is VERY fluffy and has long fur on the bottom of her paws. She was tracking other litter around, so after an online search I decided to try Feline Pine. Switching over was kind of a pain, but once she was on the Feline Pine everything was so easy! We use a sifting litter box with the sifting pan on top. Then we just scoop out the poop, shake down the "sawdust" while lifting the sifting pan slightly (so all sawdust drops down into the solid pan). There is absolutely no smell, and no tracking of kitty litter.

Affordable Litter -Effectively Controls Odor

Michele September 28, 2025

Ever since one of my cats died a painful death from licking clumping litter from its paws, I have used litter that does not include sodium bentonite. Litter from ground corn cobs spreads all over the house and it is contains perfumes to mask the odor. Litter made from recycled newspaper makes better bedding than litter. This litter does not cling to paws. The cats like using this litter. This litter is less expensive than its competitors.

I have been using this product for years as cat litter for my 6 cats. I used to buy at a farm supply store, but living alone at 80 years of age, the large bags became difficult for me to manage, even though I was able to buy in quanity and have it delivered. I recently began looking for the same thing in smaller quantities and of course Walmart, as usual, came to my rescue. This litter keeps the urine smell at bay in the open litter boxes I prefer. I clean them every day. And replace the whole box of litter every couple of months. Works for me.

This litter changed my life

K July 28, 2026

I have three cats who are just the best, but their litter box was always the worst. They tracked it everywhere, dust flew all over when I emptied it, and it smelled so bad even though it had a ton of added artificial fragrance. My cats, except one, were definitely apprehensive about this stuff at first, but I did exactly what it recommends on the back of the bag (and I left one of their litter boxes full of “normal” litter for a few days too) and by the end of a week or two they were all using it no problem. It's not for everyone though. I have super easygoing cats who, aside from making the same mess that most cats make, never have had a single litter boxe problem. No peeing in corners, no territoriality, no health issues that have affected their pooping or peeing. So it was a really easy transition. And cats are weird, you never know if one day they might randomly decide they hate it now. It's also not like normal litter, it doesn't clump. The pellets that get wet break up and sink to the bottom of the pan. The poops just sit there. My cats seem to have gotten too lazy to bury them, so I usually have to scoop them out right away. I don't mind that though, better than digging dusty clumps out. Because of this, I have to dump the whole pan more often than with regular litter. What I do is fill the litter boxes less than I would with regular litter, that way I don't feel like I'm wasting good pellets when I dump it out. But I think everything is worth it for the fact that the litter boxes NEVER smell like pee. Ever! It's amazing! And it's better for humans and pets with no airborne dust, and safe for the environment with no added chemicals. It's just pieces of wood! And it's not quite as heavy as clay litter, and cheaper by volume.

heavy

lara September 3, 2026

i thought this was supposed to be light weight, pine scented (because it is made from pine). it's very heavy. i don't smell pine. it doesn't have dust and the pellets look large enough that I am hoping they don't track all over my home like crystal litter does. I don't know how absorbent it is or if it locks urine odor in and for how many days yet because i just began using it. will revise review as needed based on performance. Price is good if it works.
