It’s well built and perfect for podcasting, streaming, and voice-overs. Overall, it’s the best entry-level streaming gear I’ve used.

This mic is actually insane. It was super easy to set up, like I had it ready in minutes. The boom arm makes it look super professional, like I’m actually a streamer or something. It feels really high quality too. And the sound is so clear no weird static, just clean audio. 100% worth it.

Fifine is steadily becoming a favorite of mine. They have yet to disappoint! I've tried their headset, control deck, and now mic and boom arm. I have to say the quality is great, nice clear sound, bright RGB, and it was easy to set up. I love the simple design that stays cohesive through their products, leaving you with a very sleek set up. The FIFINE AM8 Gaming Mic product title states “with Software,” but no software was included. None is really necessary, as the mic is mostly plug-and-play. The User’s Guide does provide tips for using third-party recording software.🟣The User’s Guide appears comprehensive. There are a few minor translation issues, but overall it is easy to follow. 🟣 I say “mostly” plug-and-play because you will need to make adjustments on both the mic itself and in your PC’s sound settings, as well as within any programs you use it with, such as Discord or OBS. 🟣 The product pictured on the box was black, but the mic inside was white, as ordered. 🟣 The boom arm has an integrated USB cord that must be plugged in to power the RGB lights. If you do not want the RGB lighting, that cord is not required. The mic itself has a separate cable that must be plugged in, so some cable management may be needed to keep things tidy. Both cords have USB-A connectors that can be pulled up to reveal USB-C tips, giving you flexibility when connecting to your computer or device. 🟣 The mic is very sensitive. It was able to pick up my whisper. The tap-to-mute feature is convenient, and the red light clearly indicates when you are muted. 🟣 The User’s Guide states there is a one-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. 🟣 WRAP-UP: I feel that the FIFINE AM8PROT mic is a great option for those looking to get into boom arm microphones. You can find similar FIFINE boom arm mics without RGB lighting for a little over half the price of this one. This streaming microphone kit from Ampligame comes with everything you need. The adjustable arm has LED lighting which you can control. The microphone has great sound and you can plug your headphones into them. Instructions could’ve been more detailed but once it’s assembled and connected, it works great. I look forward to using this for voiceover work and streaming.

This is a good kit to get started especially. I don't have much experience and had never heard of XLR. It doesn't come with XLR cable but does support it. If you use the supplied USB C cord it powers everything including RGB with the one cord. It actually runs through the mic boom arm so it appears mostly wire-free in your setup. Having the arm match the mic perfectly is a nice thing to grab as the kit. The arm is all metal with springs. It holds pretty well. I just threw it on the side of my nightstand to have it by my bed so I could record stuff anytime. It held well sideways in a not normal position. The mic has a screen on it to show Mute and connection information. It works plug and play or with Fifine Genie app. I got an XLR cable to connect it to the AmpliGame Gaming Audio Mixer. It was plug and play and sounded good with that too. I will continue to learn more of the features of the app and the mics and tune the sound a little for different things but those are learn as you go things. This is my first step into creating better content. Not streaming but recording some reviews and things like that. I think this has been a really good place to start for me. Fifine AmpliGame has a lot of good priced things to start your experience off well. I have a few of their products now and have no regrets. Btw, they overnight shipped this.

The mic itself is great I love the audio quality, the boom or stand is a bit cheap and it seems the parts you twist to tighten to lock the mic in place struggle to close all the way but it still seems like it'll hold fine, good budget mic overall if you don't want to lose sounds quality

Not good enough for studio quality - but fantastic for Discord or gaming. If you want a cheapish option that looks professional and delivers a matching quality - this is the dynamic microphone for you. The colors are bold and not too distracting. Feels solid and the controls are crisp. I like it a lot.
