Very good filter and they do last about 3 months. We have alot of iron in our water. We have an water conditioner system and this filter helps collect any iron that might get through.

This type of filter was hard to find that would fit exactly in our filter system without leaking. Tried other brands with same specs, but didn't work. Please keep this brand in stock.

I have found this 3M filter to work well beyond my expectations.Let me start by saying i am on well water with iron and sulfer.This is also a single cartridge whole house system.I have purchased several manufactures carbon filters at a lot more exspense over the past over 14 years.They all say yyy-amount of gallons and/or yy-amount of months.The best i have ever gotten from any other filter is maybe 3 weeks.First the water pressure drop then the smell.My wife picked up a two pack of these filters while shopping just because she seen them.I installed the first filter on 11-10-12.Here it is 12-31-12 (approx 7-8 weeks) and that first filter is still doing great.I should mention there are/and have been only two adults living in this home.I recently purchased (6) of these two packs so the way it looks at this time i may finally get ahead of the game or at least even.With all that being said i hope other people can have the same satisfaction that i have with this product.

This filters good. It does cut down the flow rate from the stringed filters since I'm on a well, but it fits easier into the unit when I have to change it. When I use this, I don't use the refrigerator filter and save money that way. I had to order online - my Walmart carried them in the past and I hope they get them again.

We live in the country in an area with high iron content. We have 2 wells but neither provides suitable drinking water. We have tried cheaper water filters in our water conditioner but have only been disappointed. The Filtrete carbon filter is the only one that has made our water clear enough to wash clothes and bathe in. I would definitely recommend it over other filters.

I answered the water taste for four stars because it's my water still tastes like rotten eggs. So it may not be the filter it may just be my water.

Switched to these after using the string filters for awhile and these are a better filter in my opinion

I have a 3 stage filter system. I use well water with moderate to heavy usage. This will last about 2-3 months. Well water is very mucky and plugs most filters quickly. This works very well.

i was 20 minutes early to pick up the filters. I went inside to see if it was possible to grab the filters early. The guy I talked to refused to give me my order. Said I had to wait. I questioned the worker, saying I was standing in front of him %26 couldn't he check to see if it was ready. my husband waited in the car. Another worker came out, said no problem. She came out in a few minutes with our order. this is the 2nd time I've had a problem. From now on, if an item isn't on the shelf at Walmart I'll order it on Amazon.

I ordered this on March 28, 3025 and it was delayed for some reason or other and did NOT arrive until April 3, 2025! No hot water in my home because of all this delay is frustrating. It definitely came in way too late, box soak and wet and torn on the bottom of the box! DEFINITELY UNACCEPTABLE! I need to return as is…
