Get this instead of a live one if your kids asking
Id recommend this to anyone with a child begging for an axolotl. We have a living one (my own, hes a foot long) and this guy is definitely more entertaining for children. The girls like to put this one in his little pool to swim around, it lights up, plays meoldies and also makes chirping noises. Something the living thing clearly lacks- and this doesn't require a water chiller, sand, a large tank, regular cleanings, worms ect!

It was a birthday present for a little girl in my son's class. She loves axolotl's so she absolutely loved us and came a day early which I thought was going to be late for the party.

Inaccurate Product
Don't be fooled, I did not receive what I ordered! The description and photos clearly state that the toy is the special edition that includes the pool but it is not…and it's not even the same color toy as the picture. Very disappointed, will be returning
