This case is light and clean, It doesn't defeat the lightness of the tablet like so many of the expensive and fancy cases do. The back of it is clear! So you can see the logo through it and more than that know which side is the front without guessing. It closes magnetically and turns off the ipad as it does so. and opening it turns ipad back on. I can fold it so that the ipad stands up . If I want to use the camera the back folds ⅔ of the way leaving the lens available and does not flop around when i photo.I am an artist so i often use the pencil to sketch. Without a case the pencil attaches precariously on an edge, but often falls off. This case closes it in place, allowing it to charge, even when the case is closed. I have had other ipads and other cases. This is the best one i have had regardless of price. And speaking of price you can pay more but you won't get a better one.

I needed something quick until my hard case came in, and so I ordered this. I prefer it more than the hard case.
