This is the 2nd one I have bought for my grandson. He loves his little ‘campfire.' In the first one, the connections stopped working. I'd had it a long time so I just ordered a new one. If it isn't used for a while be sure to remove the batteries. It will last a lot longer.

I initially purchased this Firefly lantern as a Christmas gift for my son, and it was such a hit that I ended up buying more for his siblings! These lanterns are incredibly well-made and durable, standing up to lots of play. One of my favorite features is the built-in handle, which can be tucked away when not in use—a clever and practical design. My kids are absolutely captivated by the vibrant color options, and the automatic color-changing feature is their favorite. The playful designs are a big plus, too—we also chose the shark and the astronaut, and all are adorable and unique. Overall, these lanterns are a fun, high-quality product that our family loves. Highly recommend!

Bought one for my daughter for away at the lake and she loves it. Bought a few to keep as gifts when her friends visit because they all love it so much.

Took on my camping trip over the weekend and mostly used it as an in tent lantern for doing a few things like changing or grabbing a few items at night. I put it in the little mesh pocket on the side of my 6 person tent so I'd always know where it was at night and could bump the button easily enough. It did at least lightly light up the whole tent - would note if you're a person who needs quite bright light to see things then I'd perhaps go with a more official camping lantern. But for me who just happened to fall in love with this cute one it was perfect. (Note: the screw to take off the bottom door for the batteries is quite tiny, you'll need a small Phillips head screwdriver for it.)

My kids love these. They are fun and the kids feel so responsible and safe. I only wish it had different modes of brightness so they could use it both for walking n around and a dim night light

I feel like this would of been a really nice lantern for my kids on our camping trip, until we went to use it and it had the tiniest screw you have to get out to open it! Why would they put that on there for a camping lantern I have no idea so my kids weren't able to use and it and they were really upset.

ours didn't come with a handle as advertised. this idea was really cute, but no handle as advertised. which is needed when bringing it out for walks. the online photo of it, clearly shows a handle, which must of been the prototype model but is definitely needed for a journey.
