Ozark Trail 50 F Rectangular Sleeping Bag

Great Bag. Big. Warm. Comfy. Light. Zipper is better than most cheaper bags, but it functions fine with a little care. I carried one on a 135 day hike - slept in it every night - down the Mississippi River Valley from WI to TN; it endured the abuse like a champ (till I gave it to a homeless guy in Nashville).

I've been buying these sleeping bags for years. They're at a price point if they get left behind or forgotten it's no big deal, but also they're warm and cozy.

Great sleeping bag for the price. I wanted the one that did the 35 F but Walmart I ordered from did not have it and they sent me the 50 F one and it worked for what I needed it for. I was inside. Have not tried it outside so not sure how warm it will be when the temperature drops. Great price. This is my 2nd sleeping bag.

bag is nice, BUT WALMART CHARGED MY ACCOUNT 3 ADDITIONAL TIMES FOR THIS 1 ITEM...when i called Wal-Mart. com, they said they had to wait till it cleared ( was in pending ) so THEN WHEN ALL 4 CHARGES CLEARED. THEY TELL ME NOTHING THEY CAN DO... IT WAS UP TO THE BANK... I CALLED THE BANK.. AND TOLD ME EXACTLY WHAT I EXPECTED...walmart submitted the charges NOT THE BANK.. AFTER 5 DAYS, the bank did a removal of the 3 ADDITIONAL charges... THIS SHOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED...IT wasnt a huge amount, but could have put my bank account into over drawen.. WATCH YOUR CHARGES. WALMART NEEDS TO RETRAIN their customer support people.. i was HIGHLY UPSET OVER THIS INCIDENT.. BUT THE SLEEPING BAG WAS O.K. GREAT GRANDSON ENJOYS IT... OH AND I NEVER RECIEVED AN APOLOGY OR ANY TYPE OF CREDIT FOR THIS NIGHTMARE

My daughter needed this ASAP for a slumber party. So I ordered the cheapest thing they had..It is ok for warmer weather. It's about 68 at night here.. It's more of a light maroon color and not a true red. Zipper was fine. Can't speak on longevity.

For the price, these are great. They are not warm, so are useful mid-summer. A liner can be used if need be. At this price, they are a great bag that will last a few months or even a year or two. In my experience, the zipper breaks after a while and the stitching breaks so that the fiber fill forms into one large ball eventually. I also have nicer name brand flannel lined bags, but these Ozark bags definitely also have a place in my collection.

It's ok… and I know it's cheap but what would it really take for an overseas manufacturer to use decent zippers??? Bad part is the more expensive ones aren't any better hence the selection

I usually only leave positive reviews but I have to leave a mid review on this sleeping bag. The one I got had a lot of issues with quality control on the stitching. The first times I used it I had threads hanging off of me after I got up. I had them go over the bag and cut a bunch of hanging threads. I hope that didn't ruin the structure of the bag. Maybe spend a little more and get something with a little more care put into it's production.

Whatever the decal was on this thing disintegrated in the package and left stinky, sticky glue all over the bag. We had to throw it out before first use because it smelled so bad.
