First Alert 2017F Water and Fire Protector File Chest, 0.19 Cubic Ft.

I was looking for a safe/lock box that was big enough to store important papers and documents along with other stuff. It most definitely can hold a lot of stuff. The picture does not do it justice. It's a lot bigger than what I had expected. It does have some weight to it but to me that's a plus. I also love the locking mechanism. Great item.

I wanted a safe box that would protect my external hard dive and other important documents in the event of a fire. I can now keep my computer backups safe allowing me to cancel my monthly online backup subscription that I was paying for. I don't worry anymore about loosing my valuable data and other important documents. This safe is the perfect size for my needs and holds standard 8 1/2 x 11 sized documents without having to bend them. I really like the spring loaded locking mechanism, it makes opening and closing the box very easy. This box works perfectly for my needs.

Yes i like the security and fire-proof Protector Chest.Its also Water-proof.All my important papers fit inside the chest", and it comes with 2-key's also. Yes i'm happy i purchase this protector box.I think also the price" was worth it! It works for me.

It's very heavy duty for the price. Very good quality and pretty spacious. I do wish the interior dimensions were a little bigger. It will fit an 8.5x11 paper but just the paper alone. If you have it in like a manila folder it won't fit flush. It is very heavy so that could be a problem for some people. I do recommend this product. Very useful for many different things.

small enough for first safe, as it was a gift.

I misplace things constantly, so this is perfect for our important documents that were all over my desk before. It's larger than expected and very heavy. I imagine I'll be Idina it for years to come.

It is heavy duty but it looks like it would be simple to get into, not as safe as I would want a safe to be. Effective for fire and water but, not so much for safe keeping.

Very good. I am happy with the purchase. I bought this item twice using Walmart site to store. Both times the item came slightly damaged (probably only cosmetic damage to the plastic shell). I accepted the minor imperfection the second time so 4 stars overall instead of 5. It does come with a desiccant pack

The product is very sturdy, waterproof and fireproof which is why I bought it. The box can be easily broken into as the silver clasp holding it closed is plastic. What a lame design!

The safe itself is very big. But, the inside is very small. Wants you to place paperwork in dishwashing safe containers. No room for anything like that!
