First Alert Voice Alert Hard-Wired Photoelectric Smoke Detector

I had another First Alert detector that was brand new and went off every time I used the oven, which was extremely annoying. I bought this model because it states it has less nuisance alarms and it works great. I can use my oven again without the detector going off.

Quick and easy install. Included wire connector plugged in to the existing connection of the Kidde brand it replaced. Talking alert can be heard loud and clear anywhere in the house.

Order went well and it was delivered as expected. It was in good shape and looked new. The installation was normal. It has worked well since it was installed.

Easy enough to change out old First Alert Smoke Detector and install this new one myself. I do not need to use the voice function as my condo is small but if you have a large house, it is a valuable feature.

First Alert has been a quality and reliable monitor for us for years. This new one has voice prompts and can be programed to alert you as to the location of the smoke or fire. It was easy to install and also convenient that it has battery back up.

Replaced an identical alarm that died (not just the battery), so expect it to operate as well. It is easy to insert %26 replace in the holder, since it is the same. Quick %26 easy.
