I took a chance and bought this, it's absolutely breathtaking! Plant was mature and healthy, and had blooms.
I never thought the flowers would be so healthy. They haven't bloomed yet but the leaves are beautiful. I bought 4 other different hydrangeas and they are blooming, very healthy
Your plant will most likely arrive small and without flowers if you order in the spring. It will grow and bloom later. Mine arrived squished, because the delivery driver put it upside down and the pot managed to move in the box and layed on the plant. Perhaps the pot should have been secured better sonit won't move. However after I planted it and watered it, the plant is looking good after few days. It is starting to bloom. Picture shows what it looked on arrival, but it looks much much better now.
These hydrangeas are absolutely stunning. The color did not disappoint.
It arrived in good condition! Well packaged dispute fedex leaving it upside down!
Love the foliage color,no blooms yet, arrived late,(FED EX) but so far it is still alive. Very small ,definitely not at all the size as described. It is only a few inches tall. Very expensive for the size.
I’m writing regarding a recent purchase of an Eclipse hydrangea from Best Edition Garden, sold as a 2-gallon live plant at Walmart. I’ve purchased multiple live flowers from Walmart before, including azaleas from Encore Gardens, hydrangeas from Better Homes %26 Gardens, and hydrangeas from Endless Summer (including a 1-gallon hydrangea I recently purchased). All of those plants were healthy, appropriately sized, and met expectations. However, this particular 2-gallon Eclipse hydrangea does not match the expected size or quality. It is noticeably smaller, has very few blooms, and is comparable to the 1-gallon hydrangea I purchased recently at a lower price—which was full of blooms and in much better condition. Based on its size and condition, this plant does not appear to meet the standard of a true 2-gallon product. This is disappointing and feels misleading. I am requesting either: A full refund, or A replacement with a properly sized, healthy 2-gallon plant that has a reasonable number of blooms.
Sadly very disappointed. Ordered two of these hydrangeas online after having found and purchased all available in stock plants at a local store. I wanted two more and my only option was ordering online. The first two that I had purchased in person at a different store were healthy, full, large and gorgeous. I planted them and watched them thrive. I decided to go ahead and try the online option, sadly the two I received in the mail arrived with a dried out sandy soil, half the size or more smaller, wilted and ripped leaves. Very disappointing for I know what true potential this plant has and what the brand typically sells. Buy them in person and save yourself the aggravations. Three photos of the Walmart order vs 1 of my other purchase.
Broken limbs, it was literally half a bush, it was wilted. it was a gift that i could not, definitely would not give. im truly disappointed with what received
I ordered 8 eclipse hydrangeas from Walmart on July 3 and they were delivered on July 4 the driver leaving them on the front lawn and not ringing the bell. I know why they didn’t ring the bell it’s because all 8 hydrangeas were in pisspoor condition with 4 being almost dead. Called to complain and the rep said they would refund half the order and I’m about 3 weeks they would delivery 4 more eclipse hydrangeas in about 3 weeks and now I’m finding out that they were canceled?????? All I wanted was 8 Healthy plants is that too much too ask for???
