Love these bandages. A friend told me about the manuka honey for stitches I got that were starting to get red and sore. So happy to find it infused in these bandaids because the medical grade manuka is very expensive and I didnt need much. I just started using it yesterday and it already has helped so much.
Got these for my mother. She has very thin skin and tears easily. She seems to heal quicker with the honey and when she takes it off it does tear her skin.
I got a small scrape across my stomach and this dressing was just the right size. I was skeptical of the honey benefits at first, but after just two days my scrape was healing faster than I expected. Of course I cleaned and disinfected the wound first, waited for it to dry then applied the Manuka Dressing. I was pleased that the adhesive was just the right strength formula and didn't pull out any hairs. It's a good product and a great compliment to our other adhesive bandages.
Love this product. Very high quality great value.
I love these bandages. My husband works in a warehouse and gets nicks and cuts very often. We put these on a cut he got on his arm. This bandage was great. The bandage stuck on all day and didn't peel or fray along the edges. It has it's own medicine (dressing) in the bandage so it provided some moisture but not too much. The cut was noticeably better by the next day. The scab was soft and my husband said it wasn't as painful as he's used to. After a couple of days, the cut was already healing nicely. With regular bandages, it takes about a week or so for the scab to start healing. These worked great. I highly recommend them.
The First Honey Manuka Dressing is a larger size bandage. It best use is probably for burns and scrapes. You would most likely use this for an arm or leg injury. It is big at 3" x 4". It is also heavier and feels thicker and tougher than similar size bandages. It feels cooler to the touch and is comforting to an injury. Knowing that it is a medical grade honey is reasurring. I wouldn't want to add any funky bacteria. I used it for a long scratch on one of my daughters fingers. I cut the package in half and saved the other half in a baggie. The dressing soothed the injury and helped brace the finger from extra movement. We both feel that it helped her finger heal better than a regular bandage.
My daughter has extremely sensitive skin, so I was looking to try something natural. She fell the other day when riding her bike and had a bad cut on her knee. I cleaned it and tried one of these. I cut the edges so that they would fit properly in the knee area and it was perfect. Bandaids don't usually come in this large of a size and she needed something big to cover this one. It seems to have healed faster and she didn't complain that her skin was burning or itching, which is a huge plus. She said that it didn't even hurt to remove it. I will be stocking up on these in all sizes.
Product is very good. Just very disappointed on how the product was crushed inside the shipping bag. I'm still keeping the product since all the bandages were still intact and sterile. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with the shipping process.
We ordered bandages not dressing! Not happy the order was wrong!
It does not stick at all. I have dry skin. it falls off after 30 minutes.
