This is a gift for someone else so I have not opened it, but the price was comparable to what I saw on other sites and I feel that Fisher Price products are usually reliable and high quality.

My one year old loves it and the Purple Monkey song that was on her kick and play mat as well. She loves turning the pages and hearing the different sounds!

did you have the play mat, were you absolutely torn when you get rid of it, now you can hear that song and realize how big they have gotten in the last year, my little guy loves the book, the song makes us cry

Just know that the book doesn't sing the whole song, only the purple monkey verse. I can't remember reading anything that stated that (could have missed it idk, first time mom here with mom brain) if I had know idk if I would have spent the money on this. Regardless my LO does love it so take this information for what it is worth.

Cute but a lot smaller than I thought it would be. Only has 2 pages to turn. Doesn't tell any story or anything. Just sings the cute monkey song. Good for babies, but not toddlers in my opinion.

it's not the whole song, which disappointed me, but i could have accepted that. it was really easy to remove from the packaging, but unfortunately that's why there were holes in the back of the toy and i could see a red wire. i didn't feel comfortable letting my drooly baby play with it after i noticed that.

I ordered this online therefore I was unable to pick my own product. My Purple Monkey Musical Storybook arrived in poor condition from the packaging to the product. The products stickers are bubbled up on each of the five pages. I tried smoothing out the bubbles but was unable to fix the issue. I ordered this as a gift but will not gift it as it in very poor condition.

Terrible quality. Stick-ons wrinkled. Volume so low baby would need super-hearing. Only THREE pages. I can't believe it's Fisher-Price. 𝗗𝗘𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗟𝗬 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗.
