Perfect for small hands. It makes noise but not so loud and annoying as some toys. It's easy for a 10 month old to manipulate. A child can play with this sitting up, on tummy, or on their back. It's not heavy if the child dropped it on their leg, foot, head, etc.

It makes a clacking noise when the object is shaken. The babies enjoy the sound but they are still working on how to make the clacking noise. Small enough for the car, stroller and diaper bag.

Our 12 month old loves this toy. The tentacles on the caterpillar are of particular interest as well as the flexibility of the body of the caterpillar. It is a great toy to keep in your diaper bag or the car for on the go play.

It’s very durable and won’t break or fall apart. I’m not a fan of how hard it is to make it clack and make noise but other than that I think it’s a great toy for babies!
