Fiskars 3-Claw Stand Up Weeder, 39" Long Ergonomic Handle with Easy-Eject Mechanism

It's a Fiskars Product. It works as advertised... Need I say more? Seriously. It works. I live in the High Desert, where if I were to guess at it, weeds is at least two thirds of the Flora. I actually could not wait for the try out, so, in my slacks and dress shirt, I picked the weeder up from where it was delivered, spun 180 degrees, and picked out a gnarly three foot high monstrous weed next to my front door. I poked the Weeder into the heart of the dragon... I mean weed, used the footpeg, tilted and... plucked the weed out as easy as using a cane. Walked over to my greens can, and without any trouble, ejected the weed in, never to see my yard again!

This has been our favorite weed puller for over a decade. The good thing is when the plastic pieces ( around the pieces that geasp the weed) break, Fiskars offers a Lifetime warranty and will send you a new one free of charge! Why buy new then? Because Fiskars sent us the 4-prong with the last replacement... we prefer this 3-prong.

No miracle tool, but does what it’s for relatively well. And it looks well-built, except maybe for this plastic thing to « release the weed » whose use in practice remains mysterious to me. Set as it is, I expect to break it before I figure out what it’s for… Otherwise, I used it to remove dandelions in wet soil. Could do that relatively well without having to bend down (my back is grateful). However, it remains quite easy to miss the weed roots with this claw design. Maybe it’ll get better with more use.

This Fiskars 3-claw weeder has honestly made yard work so much easier. It pulls weeds out by the root without having to bend over or kneel, which has saved my back and knees big time. The claws grip surprisingly well, even on stubborn dandelions and crabgrass. I also love the easy eject feature so I'm not constantly touching weeds or dirt. It's lightweight, simple to use, and actually kind of satisfying once you get going. Definitely one of those tools that makes you wonder why you didn't buy it sooner. If you have a lot of weeds and hate pulling them by hand, this thing is absolutely worth it.

I was a little hesitant to buy this due to some of the one-star reviews. However, I found this to be one of my favorite tools! I’m wondering whether the one-star people didn't use it correctly. Additionally, if you water about an hour before you pull the weeds, you get the entire root. Love it!!!

This tool does a great job in pulling out weeds, especially dandelions. My only complaint is that the claws have a tendency to close after the ejection handle is pulled back. I have to keep hitting the foot piece to make sure the claws are open completely before attempting to pull another weed Other than that, it works as advertised. I would buy an again.

This is well made but does not work in Southwest desert terrain. I have weed growing in my gravel yard and the blades pick up too many stones and not enough weed. Also the hard ground makes it difficult to get the tool into the ground far enough to grab the root of the weed. I have had similar weed pullers in the past that fell apart or snapped , this Fiskars model is sturdy and well made but just not suited for desert weeds.

This mfg makes some of the best tools and don't get me wrong this is a good tool well put together but because the part that goes into the ground is only 4 inches it can only do small weeds. It would be much better with much larger digging claws as most problem weeds have huge roots.

It was sure a disappointing tool, not at all easy like the video showed. It was hard to shove in the ground, wet or dry, and it pulled up a huge cold that wouldn't eject. If you're over 5'-6", this tool is too short. I find the concept terrific, but it didn't measure up.

Handle is too short, and I am 5’5”. For each weed pulled out, I needed to pick up tool and push slider to eject weed. Success in pulling weed out of the ground was about 50%. I had to aim at the exact spot to grab roots. When I was successful, I also pulled out a large divot of dirt, which was not desired. This task hurt my back after 30-50 attempts. I wanted something easier than pulling out by hand, and this did not come close to making it easier. Many plastic parts that could easily break.
