Fiskars 3-Piece Fabric Cutting Set: White Rotary Cutter, Gray Cutting Mat, and Acrylic Sewing Ruler

I'd been wanting to try a rotary cutter for a while, and as a beginner, I'm very happy with this set! The blade is sharp and slices quite easily through several layers of fabric. The cutting mat works well--it is on the smaller side, but I knew that when I ordered. I may want a larger one eventually but for learning this is perfect. The ruler was more of a bonus than anything but I've actually found myself using it a lot to ensure pieces are proportionate and check measurements. All around a great set!

I'm new to sewing and I'm still learning all the tools you need. This set is perfect for people like me still figuring it all out. I've seen the rotary cutter alone cost over $20 in other stores, so this set is a great price also! The cutting mat is larger than I thought(because I ordered it), and the ruler is acrylic so it's very sturdy. Would buy again.

I like that I could buy it in a set instead of everything separately and it can be easily stored. The blade on the cutter is nice and sharp, and there is a guard that is simple to use and the blade will be easy to change.

The measurement grid helps when using the rotary cutter to get an accurate cut. The rotary cutter makes my work so much easier. It's very sharp. This set is great for cutting fabric or paper. I use mine for cutting ribbon and trim, and it's vastly superior to scissors. The self-healing cutting mat, which I wish had been offered in a bigger size, is a necessity for keeping my workbench pristine.

I bought this for myself as someone who was taking up sewing more seriously after years of tinkering. It's a great starter kit to get the pieces you need, and it's easy to find replacement rotary blades. Now that my projects are getting bigger I'll purchase a larger mat, but this one will still get used!

I love this mat. Comes with the ruler and cutting tool. You can measure to assure your cutting the right amount off. The cutting tool is very sharp and durable. When cutting lay material on the mat measure with your ruler to ensure a straight line, put the cutting wheel down roll across the material. You will receive a smooth straight cut every time. Good quality well worth the money. I would highly recommend!!

Lost my fabric cutter so i came on here. This item came up in the search so, i decided to purchase this instead of just the cutter. As someone whom has been sewing for years i think this is good starter kit. Especially if you dont sew all the time, the mat will be just big enough.

I love having both the cutting mat and acrylic ruler. Having both makes it easier for to cut along a precise line along the beads of my diamond paintings when I want to cut them down for framing. Having the roller cutter is easier to use with this process versus using regular scissors.
