Fiskars Kids Cardboard Creator Cutting Craft Knife with Sheath, Turquoise, Ages 8 and up

This tool is lightweight, compact, and has a soft grip, so it was easy to use in my brief test. Its size will make it easy to store in a drawer or toolbox, but it can also hang on a hook by its handle. I'm developing arthritis in my hands, but I was able to saw cardboard with no pain. The blade was sharp. I was able to cut the little corner shown in the photo in perhaps three seconds. The silicone sheath protects the blade and my hands. I love this tool.

I bought this to cut cardboard to make pinatas. This works great. It cuts through so easily and it is even easy to cut curved lines and different shapes. I just wish the handle was a little bigger. I would use caution letting small children use this even though it is advertised as a child tool. It is very sharp and my 7 year old was cutting cardboard and it slipped and cut his finger open.

I am always working on crafts and kids school projects, so this is going to be so useful cutting cardboards. It is safe to use it and very durable. It makes it easier to cut with this knife. I like that It has a blade guard to close it when you put it away so it's safe.

She used every packing box that we had at home to help create her fort. She said that cutting out windows and doors with this product was so easy; way better than a scissors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are pretty great for kids craft projects. The non slip handle makes it easy to hold for little hands. I also like the safety cover. It’s easy to remove and place back on. It cuts through cardboard easily. Just an all around good tool.

I would never recommend these. I bought these today and within a couple hours my 12 year old sliced her thumb open to the point of stitches. These are not child safe and should not be marketed towards children!!
