Fiskars Scissor Blade Sharpener, 6" Diamond Coated, Orange

Like always, I managed to read the instructions AND watch tutorials I found online for using this properly…but still ruined three pairs of scissors before I figured it out. Definitely do your research prior to using it, because it works very well if you use it the right way. Great buy!

I was skeptical but I was also tired of dealing with dull gardening shears. This little tool works perfectly. I can't attest to its long-term durability over time, because I just purchased it, but I love the ease of being able to sharpen my shears while I'm out in the yard. I would recommend this if you want a simple tool to merely add to your garden bucket. You can't beat it for the price.

This blade sharpener was specifically purchased for the Faberware Mandolin Slicer. The company does not have replacement blades, but this sharpener slips conveniently under the existing blade for effortless sharpening. Its compact size allows it to slip into the kitchen tool drawer. It's also great for putting a sharp edge on any knives that may be laying around. For what this sharpener provides, it is definitely worth the cost. Simply hold at a 20 degree angle and run the sharpener over the blade a few times. The orange handle is easy to grip, making it a very user-friendly tool.

This simple little item sharpens my scissors SO well. Fiskars makes great scissors but you can sharpen your basic everyday scissors with this Blade Sharpener on an occasional basis and those everyday scissors blades are sharp and a pleasure to use.

This sharpener is the best yet! I not only did my scissors but also did some gardening tools. If it came in a larger size I would buy it ASAP. You can't go wrong with this product!

I was doubtful about this when I ordered it because I've never used a straight tool to sharpen scissors before. But I followed the instructions and was very happy to find that my scissors were sharper. I love this little thing.

Unless you really know know what you are doing and have multiple scissors to sharpen it is cheaper to buy a new pair. Once the rivet gets loose on a pair of scissors they are done.

My frustrations are identical to any crazy person who tries to sharpen scissors... The scissors seem exactly like they were before, and I followed the instructions. Or I think I did. Too much subjectivity involved, as usual.
