Just the Right Size for Small Hands

restlessd March 5, 2021

Fiskars Student Sewing Scissors are just the right size for smaller hands. These work like scissors should and are sturdy and should last for a long time. They are priced fairly and would be worth buying the 3 pack as I like to have scissors spread around the house in a few different locations. I would recommend these to anyone who wants a sturdy pair of scissors that fit small hands. I have several Fiskars products and know that they are well-made and last for a very long time.

Best scissors I've ever owned

Cmt1 December 20, 2020

First of all what I like about the scissors is that they're small where my fingers go the holes aren't big I have small hands I also have nerve damage in my hands so trying to find a pair of scissors that would work for me was getting difficult these are perfect the tension on them is tight which gives me better control in using the scissors and they aren't slipping all over the place like a bigger pair they're very sharp I like them for my crocheting I'm glad I got these

Well, I have to admit...

Roxxi December 28, 2020

My first inclination is to love these scissors anyway, because they are a Fiskars product, based on their reputation. My experience with Fiskars has always been good. I don't know what makes them "Student" scissors, except that they are small. This is great for me though, since I have small hands. I tried them out, and they work well, as expected, when cutting paper and when cutting fabric. They are also very comfortable to use because of the plastic that the handles are made of. I do recommend them!

Love these scissors

MissVelvet January 3, 2021

These Fiskars Premier Fashion 7 Student scissors are great for kids, however, I really like them for myself too. They are light weight and easier for me to use than regular size scissors. They are 7” long and easier to control than longer scissors, They cut paper and fabric perfectly. Very sharp. A lot of scissors just wont cut fabric. My 5 year old great grand daughter has no problem using them either. So, if your hands are “Seniors”, like mine, these scissors are for you. And your Grands and Great Grands will love these scissors too!

Wow! Fiskars Sewing Scissors is above all scissors

MP77 December 31, 2020

There is a big difference in scissors and using a Fiskars scissor. The quality of the metal blades are heavier and precise. Though the scissor is made expressly for fabric cutting, I have found that they work wonders in grooming my dog that has a coat of fur which is difficult to cut with ordinary scissors. The handle has a nice grip for my fingers and the tip of the scissors has a blunt tip which is excellent for safety reasons. Good quality and they cut fabric as well as my dogs coat to perfection.

Very Nice Scissors

Sweet99 December 30, 2020

This pair of scissors is really great for all your cutting needs. They arrived just in time for the holidays and wrapping was easier with them. I also enjoy sewing and they have also worked very well for that also. Easy straight cuts from start to finish everytime. A must to have around the house.

Surprisingly precise

aspi December 28, 2020

I knew these se smaller scissors would be great for making quilt pieces but I didn't expect the clean, smooth cut they deliver on large-piece projects. I'm not a student, but they are not a tight fit for my fingers and thumb (I do have slim fingers), therefor, I rarely exchange them for one of my larger pair of scissors while on a project. Quick, clean cut through thread as well; no fuzzy ends. I've used them on a variety of fabrics and had no problem (yet) cutting through zippers when sizing them down to fit. The blades give a precise cut all the way to the tip. The angled handle design allows you to keep fabrics laying flat while cutting. The handle is made of plastic that seems quite sturdy, so I expect them to last a long time, and are held together by a screw that appears permanent. I am enjoying these quick, precise little scissors!

Don't buy.

Retta August 28, 2022

I did not open these scissors when they arrived, because they were supposed to be for school. I did open them 8/25/2022, they seemed to be okay. We went to cut something this morning and the blade "fell out". It was not screwed all the way through to the other side, so it just fell out. What a waste of money. This is Fiskars??? Always thought that was a pretty good brand. Not anymore. Maybe the "little" scissors made for "kids" are better.
