My husband is a big man and trying to find a size 15 wide gives limited choices. And, he works on his feet all day so he needs substantial support. These are a great price and a great fit. The sole is very cushioned and they didn't need to be broken bout could be worn right out of the box. The only complaint is that he thought the shoe strings were a bit short. If you have someone who is hard to fit, FitVille offers some excellent choices at reasonable prices.
Finding 12.5 4E was unobtaium! Until now. I finally found a pair of shoes my husband liked, were comfortable, and that fit! A little pricey, but that comes with the territory when you have big feet.
I bought these sneakers in hope of finding comfort, support and healthier feet. I tried Hooka footwear, Sketches work shoe and they didn't work for me. I like the wider toe box. The narrow sneakers cramp up my toes causing corns. In the past I had 4 pair of Champion Sneakers that resembled the Sketchers Shape Up sneakers. The Champion Sneakers were excellent work shoes. Im hoping that these Fitvilles will wear as well or better. If not they too will be returned.
surprisingly with all the trouble I have with my feet, these in the extra wide size, I can wear them the longest before they start aggravating my areas of my feet. And if I take the time and use moleskin extra thick on the areas that do get sore I can wear them even longer!!!!!
I got these for my brother who has a difficult time finding shoes for his feet that don't pinch his toes, and he can wear at work without being miserable. When I gave them to him he put them on and said they were fine. I asked him a few days later, and he was still speaking positively about them but said there really hadn't been enough time to give a good assessment of them. Well now, he was like' so where did you get these?' ‘What size did you get?' This is about as positive a response a person can get from him PLUS a thank you! This is a total win!! Thank you from my brother!! Now at the same time I ordered a pair for myself too. Mine are a slight bit too small but still a good pair and wearable
The shoe is perfect. I bought them for my husband and he's worn them everyday since he got them. The fit and style was perfect.
While these are advertised as 'wide' and the toe box is slightly larger than the NB i typically wear, as a person cursed with 'penguin feet' a bit more room would be nice. The shoe is comfortable for the price, the appearance is nice, and only time will tell how they hold up. The structure around the heal is not quite as firm as the NB, so they have a tendency to roll under when putting the shoes on, but not difficult to pull it out before tightening the laces, just be aware that the tradeoff for not being too stiff around the ankle comes with a need to fish the back of the shoe out before cinching it up.
These shoes look cool but they aren't the most comfortable. I wanted to try something different and cheaper than Brooks or New Balance but I'm a big guy so I need to stick with the brand name shoes with better cushion and support. These shoes aren't terrible but I'll chalk it up to a learning experience.
They're okay as long as you don't have to be on your feet more than 10hrs a day. Also don't go out in the rain with them, just a small amount of water can get in them from the top.
I don't understand why it's so difficult to get what I paid for. This is the 2nd time ordering these shoes. You keep giving the wrong size shoes. I keep ordering a size 14 wide. Please explain.
