Love this game, and was happy to find it for my 7 yr old that wanted it and, "need it BAD"...lol! She, along with the rest of the family enjoy the game alot. It's a little pricey considering they only have a set of cards, and a "wand"-like tube with tiny silver balls inside to time you with. We've played the game from our heads in the car for awhile now, and I guess I expected a little more in an actual boxed set. Even with that being said, i'm still glad I bought it. Now instead of thinking up things/questions, there are cards. If you have younger players, it's easy to keep them in the game by changing a word here and there like name three "kinds" of dogs instead of "breeds" of dogs. Or name three books that rhyme, not three Dr. Suess books. You can always pick another card, too! We don't use the timer they sent, we just count to five. Still a fun game, and you hear all kinds of answers!
FUN!! This game is so much fun! We have a blast every time we play! On Christmas night and again on New Years Day, the whole family played together! This game is just awesome and one of those timeless games, that will never go out of style and will last a lifetime. The idea behind the game is simple...or so you may think! You are given 5 seconds to come up with three answers to a category. Now that may be an easy task when you aren't under pressure but given 5 seconds to get your thoughts in gear and trust me, your mind WILL go blank! That's where the fun comes in! The next person has to try to come up with three answers that can not include any of the answers you stated. You think it's easy, just try it and it gets harder and harder as you go along! This game is addictive! It is FUN! You will be laughing yourself to tears! I can tell you that my family really loved playing this game. We intended to play for 30 minutes and wound up playing for hours! The great part about this game is that EVERYONE can participate in playing. Mom even yelled her answers from the kitchen while cleaning the dishes, we just turned her timer for her! The great thing about this game is no matter what age you are...it has questions for every age! I honestly can't say enough good things about this game. It is good old fashioned fun! I'm going to buy a few more and give them out as gifts! With Valentine's Day coming up, give this one to your love! Who needs candy and flowers?, I'd rather have fun and laughter!!
My daughter received this from Santa and has been a hit at our family get togethers or just the two of us. Doesn't seem like it would be challenging at all but when given 5 seconds to answer the category.... It is a lot tougher than you think. Some of the answers blurted out in our games have been priceless. So worth every penny paid for the time spent with family.
We played this game at my mamas 80th birthday party. My family loved this game. I have family and friends calling me ,askink where did you purchase that game. i tell them Walmart
The game is easy to play and fun. Good for all ages.
My only complaint about this game is the types of questions. We had a group of about 8-10 adults playing and cards would frequently come up with questions like "Name 3 of the Rugrats" or "Name 3 shapes". So although the game was pretty fun, it got annoying whenever a pre-school type question would come up. If the box said "For all ages" it wouldn't bother me, but it didn't. It said "Adult". Also, make sure to follow the rules for what to do if someone misses the question. That's when it gets even more fun!
Quick to begin play. No long directions. Game plays through pretty fast also. Lots of cards/topics. Played as a family with a 16 yr old son and 10 yr old daughter. Thought 10 yr old would have no problems but turned out that some questions were a little frustrating. Made some slight modifications such as, explaining exactly what card was asking for, re selecting a more familiar topic, and allowing an extra second or so. This allowed all 4 of us to really enjoy the game. A lot of fun !
This game is lots of fun but the 5 second time allotment is way too fast for my old brain. I am going to look for an independent timer of some sort and increase the time allowed to 20 seconds for my "seasoned" friends. (That still may not be enough time.
Good family game = teen to sr. citizen. Note that the timer lasts for 3.3 seconds, not 5 seconds.
The game was just OK. The topics are really easy which made the game less interesting. We played for shots which was probably the only thing that made the game worth while.
