PlayMonster Set Card Games for Kids, Multi-Player Card Game of Visual Perception, Children Ages 6+

Set has become one of my favorite games. I've never kept score, just playing it is reward enough. What I like best about Set is that it trains my brain to see things that are completely different from each other as making just as good of a set as things that are quite similar.

SET is a powerful and engaging game that I use in cognitive therapy to help improve processing speed and decision-making. By challenging players to recognize patterns quickly, the game encourages faster mental processing and strengthens flexible thinking. Playing SET requires players to move between creative and logical thinking. With 1,080 different ways to form a set of three cards, players first use creative thinking to spot possible combinations. Then, they shift into logical reasoning to determine whether the cards truly form a valid set. I have used SET with clients for 25 years, working with ages five through adult. Its combination of pattern recognition, quick decision-making, and logical analysis makes it a valuable tool for building cognitive skills across a wide age range. SET Game is not the easiest game to learn, but it is well worth learning!

I got this game for my son and his wife's first anniversary (married 5/16/ 09). They enjoy spending an evening playing various card and/ or board games after their 5 year old daughter (and soon to be newborn daughter) are in bed. I'm sure they will enjoy this game as much as my son and I did about 15 years ago or so,

I recently played SET for the first time at a friend's house. It was a lot of fun. Easy, yet challenging. I had to have my own. I thought it might be difficult to find. But Walmart had it in stock. Good Price. Easy pick-up.

This is a great game for all ages, adults watch out this is a game your kids can beat you at fair and square. The games are quick and addictive! Have fun!

My son and I had been playing the daily online version during the week. We wanted to try the muto-player version. I bought a game for home, and we played with my husband too. It is so enjoyable to call out, ""Set!"" when you find one. My husband started to get the hang of it after a couple rounds, and was beating us to some of the sets. I love that we can all play. I am studying to become a teacher and will have packs of this game for my classroom and to send home for families to share some fun, engaging math time together!

I received this product in exchange for an honest review. Our family absolutely loves this set game! It really makes you think because the sets are very unique in how they are made into a group. My oldest likes to play by herself on rainy days and we all play together when we are finished with tv time. Its just a good overall game for all ages.

I purchased this game for my son-in-law-to-be for his birthday because he likes games as much as we do! I also play online each day and enjoy that way too!
